Adapted from Elisabet Benavent’s En Los Zapatos De Valeria novel series, Valeria is a Spanish take on modern-day issues blended with emotional drama. It is developed by Maria Lopez Castano with efficient eloquence who adapted the 2013 novel in late 2018. The filming for the first season began in 2019 and continued for a year before Valeria Season 1 broadcasted on May 8, 2023. The series was an instant success and didn’t take long enough to establish itself in the world of abundant romantic comedies.
A month later, Netflix officially announced the renewal which premiered on 13 August 2021. Two months later, Valeria Season 3 was approved but with the approval came a piece of disheartening news. Valeria Season 3 was announced to be the third and final instalment in the series. On June 2, 2023, Valeria’s journey came to a conclusion.
However, fans are still kindling hope for a possible Season 4. Is it possible that Netflix and Castano would reconsider their decision given the stellar ratings of Valeria Season 3? Doesn’t seem like it so far.
