The very first season of this highly dramatic supernatural Indian series has truly impressed us a lot and we surely recommend the same to you all. You might not see or feel them, but they do exist.
It all begins with the lit all-night party in Chinatown, that’s how she lost her tooth! This time its Monsters vs Cutmundus. Ever heard of blood-sucking species, the immortals who are blessed to live long? Well, they are just one of them! This is not just a mainstream love story, where a vampire falls for an ordinary man! She is rebellious, fearless, charming, and intelligent, you better not assume her to be weak! Tooth Pari: When Love Bites Season 1 Review
This story revolves around Rumi, a blood-sucking monster who falls in love with a normal dentist named Doc Roy. Get ready to see how the immortals are living a peaceful life within the pit holes of a gigantic hospital. Unlike yesteryears, now they don’t venture out to kill humans! Thanks to AD, who always has been there to supply them with cold-pressed blood, that’s their main source of energy that is something that keeps them alive. But everything which you get comes for a pay, this is a barter of blood between the humans and the immortals.
Tooth Pari: When Love Bites Season 1 takes us back to 1960 when the City of Joy was shattered apart. The rights, the protests, and the loud cry of many were curbed down, this is when Section 144 was imposed on the streets of Kolkata. Only the police were allowed to roam around, and that’s when Inspector Birenchandra Pal saw them, the deadly monsters, the “Darindas”. He was the only man who managed to fight them all, but his tale was believed by none, other than the Cutmundus!
These are just a few glimpses from Season 1, the series itself is extensively long and interesting. It would be quite fair to say that the very first installment of Tooth Pari: When Love Bites truly surprised us a lot. According to our opinions and judgments, this particular series surely deserves a solid 8 from our rating system. Moreover, the cast had a blend of fresh and young talents and highly experienced Bengali actors, which just served the right purpose for boosting the popularity of the show.

Tooth Pari: When Love Bites Season 1 Ending Explained
The series ends with the death of the infamous Cutmundus leader, Luna Luka. You may sight her as the very gorgeous, smart, and evil witch of the gang but all she ever wanted was to wipe off the deadly monsters of Kolkata! All she ever wanted was to hunt them down again, but she killed the wrong monster and that’s how the tension begins. Instead of Rumi, the very innocent Sreela became her target, and thus began Rumi’s mission to kill the murderers of her friend. Little did Luna know that Rumi is much more than a monster.
Killing Luna Luka wasn’t easy at all, it would be quite fair to say that the witch trusted the wrong people. Yes, Rumi sucked up her blood and eventually killed her, but the main man to be held here should be Mr. Adi Deb, not Rumi, after all, he was the one who ordered Rumi to kill Luka. On the other hand, we also cannot ignore the fact that sub-inspector Kartik played a huge role here. It was he who helped Rumi to kill Luna Luka. Rumi fought till her last breath and the Mother Nature was always on her side! A huge mystery lies behind her second life and hopefully, we will learn more about it in the next installment of the show.
Tooth Pari: When Love Bites Season 1- How Did Rumi Lose Her Tooth?
We discussed the ending above, but hey there, how could we forget about the main question of the day? Wouldn’t you want to know about Rumi’s missing tooth? It all comes down to the Tangra night, this was the first time when she saw Dr. Roy and this was the night when Rumi tried to bite into Badshah’s artery! That’s how she broke her right canine and this is where her love story begins with Dr. Roy.
This missing tooth holds up the whole story together. From walking into Dr. Roy’s clinic to getting under Luna Luka’s radar, Rumi had no clue that she was playing with fire here. But as they say, your senses don’t work when you feel the first touch of love, and the same saying goes for Dr. Roy. Despite knowing everything about Rumi and her mysterious dark life, he decided to be with her and that’s when Rumi decided to protect him forever.
