The show that all of us have been waiting for such a long time is finally here, queen maker is one of the most trending Netflix K drama series of the year 2023, and what is the audience’s reaction to that, and why are there so many people hyping about it. Common, for years business shows and movies where there is drama politics, and every evil of the modern world, have been a very favorite genre of the audience out there, and even if there aren’t many gangsters or anything in this show, we must never forget how cruel and up to which extent this power hungry monsters of the conglomerate world can go. Firstly we would like to address the ratings of the show which stand at a 7.9 imdb rating out of 10, which is actually pretty impressive, following that we are going to cover the reviews of the critics and the comments of the makers of the show. From what we have seen overall from around the globe, the critics have mostly praised the series, however, some have commented it is very lengthy and that it had been stretched quite a lot at some point things being very slow, however, based on the response for the audience, we can’t completely agree with that as people all over the world have loved it and are going crazy for the second season of the show. Queenmaker Season 1 Review
For all those wondering what this show is about, it’s about when one of the lapdogs who have been trained to be loyal to big business families, finally understands that she has been doing all wrong from the start of her career, and she has covered her hands in complete blood, and done harm to many people, just to fill the pockets of the rich and make them richer. She didn’t care about how the middle class or the working class works and after a certain incident when one of the members of the business family shows his devilish side, and assaults a different woman, and tricks the lapdog into killing the person indirectly, she finally gains consciousness of what she has been doing for years.
Then begins the war between the just and the unjust, throughout the series we get to see many things such as the unjust way the politicians adopt to get whatever they want and how they end up doing everything to win the elections and stay in power so that they can fulfill all there devilish means and misuse there power. We are basically going to see the truth of modern society and from an audience viewpoint, we have to give credit to the makers of the show for making the storyline so gripping and adding suspense and mystery with a full-on cold war set between the two big candidates in the show.
Praise has to be given to the actors of the show who have just outdone themselves at every step making the show so realistic and gripping and overall there was not a moment that the fans went bored. The media hype has been something that we have already been intimidated by before the show came out following the crooked character of Hwang Do Hee, and how her character changed from evil to good was just admirable. almost every one of us had rooted for her till the end. Now something that we all knew is that evil will lose but the ending was not expected and some of the truths that came out were surely shocking and left every fan out there quite shocked. Overall a great watch and everyone should go for it if they love drama and a lot of action. It’s quite a tactical show to watch.

For the release date of the second season of the show, we haven’t received any updates as of now, however, if you have watched the series already you do know, there stands a huge cliffhanger that can lead to a great season 2 very soon. However no worries we won’t be giving any spoilers as of now, but be aware you are going to see something that you never would have imagined before.
