Music Box is a cluster of short documentary series or films, with each film directed by a different one. The series is created by Bill Simmons. The series was ongoing with 6 episodes. The series got released under Ringer Films Production and Polygram Entertainment.
Music Box Season 2 Release Date
Season 1 of the series ran from July 23, 2021, to December 16, 2021, on HBO. It got 7.1 ratings out of 10 on IMDb, 73 % on Metacritic, and was liked by approximately 65 % of people. After season 1, fans are now waiting for the next season. We are going to give you a joyous time as the makers, HBO and Bill renewed the series for the next season. However, the release date is not disclosed, but we are likely to see this by 2022. Let’s hope for the best and wait.

Music Box Season 1 Recap
There are many short documentary films in the Music Box, which we will talk about here. The first film in the music series is Woodstock 99: Peace, Love, and Rage, which is created by Garret Price and tells the story of Woodstock 99, a musical festival, which is promoted to the unity and ideology of the original concert of 1969. The next series is Jagged, which is directed by Alison Klayman and shows the interview with Alanis Morissette, for her 1995 album, Jagged Little Pill with her struggle and journey to become an international icon in the male-dominated music industry.
Directed by Christopher Frierson, DMX: Don’t Try To Understand focuses on the life of rapper Earl “ DMX ” Simmons, who is released from prison in early 2019, the film shows us his struggle and determination to stay true to himself, being a father, an artist and an icon. Listening To Kenny G which is directed by Penny Lane, portrays the life of Kenny Gorelick, a saxophonist, and a superstar musician of his time. He was also known by Smooth Jazz.
The next film on our list is Mr. Saturday Night which is directed by John Maggio. This film shows us the career of Australian entrepreneur Robert Stigwood. He changed the way of film studios and gave a new approach. The last film of the series is Juice WRLD: Into The Abyss, directed by Tommy Oliver. It shows the hardships, struggles to gain fame, mental and health issues with drug use, rather in a short film but leaves a great impact.
