World Trigger Backstory – How It All Started? Who Are Neighbors? 

Set around Mikado City, firstly, this story introduces us to the deadly monsters called “Neighbors”. As these creatures finally succeed in finding the entrance door to the human world, panic grows among the commoners. Having no weapon whatsoever to fight the monsters, we will see how the National Defense Agency, popularly known as “Border”, comes into existence! Interestingly enough, they were the first ones to decode the technology of the Neighbors. 

Thus the National Defense Agency brings in the concept of “Triggers”. This happens to be a powerful weapon that allows humans to channel some sort of internal energy within themselves. By activating this unique power, the ordinary human body is easily replaced by a battlefield expert. Since the body of this warrior is made up of Trion, the users can now easily combat the Neighbors. And this is exactly how for four prolonged years, they have been winning continuously over the monsters.

A Short Overview Of World Trigger – Yūma Kuga’s Adventuring Journey Begins Here!

Coming down to the ultimate synopsis, the human world will yet again be in turmoil, when Yūma Kuga, a strong humanoid Neighbor finds himself in the Mikado City. Doing his best to hide from Border, he disguises himself as a mysterious white-haired transfer student. But as one digs deep into the sci-fi thriller, we will see how he comes across Osamu Mikumo. He might look like a normal school-going student, but little did Yūma know that Osamu happens to be a C-rank Border trainee. 

Since Kuga was new to the city, he was completely unaware of life here and thus, Mikumo plays a very important role in his life. Their heart-touching friendship surely entertained us a lot and fans would like to see more of their chemistry. From being close friends to preventing Yūma from being discovered by Border, Osamu is indeed a friend everyone needs. We can say with certainty that none of the anime fans were happy to say goodbye to this one.
