The Real Court Case!
PepsiCo, a famous company, has various types of commercials that we know as ads. These ads help the company to attract customers. It is a crucial business policy to attract customers as you already know. During the mid-1990s PepsiCo launched a series of commercials that stated that if the customers collected a certain number of points by buying the PepsiCo products, they would be able to achieve prize gifts like T-shirts or sunglasses.
One such commercial showed that if anybody managed to gain seven million points, they would be given an AV-8 Harrier II Jet as the prize. The Jet was worth $32 million. This was an enticing commercial, but the audience knew it was impossible to collect seven million points. However, here laid the twist. One person named John Leonard, who was then a business student in 1996, discovered that it was possible to collect seven million points. He devised a strategy to collect seven million points and involved Todd Hoffman as his investor in the whole scenario.
When Leonard was successful in collecting the required points, seven million to be exact, to claim the Jet as his prize, PepsiCo denied him the prize. They said that the commercial was a “joke”. This enraged Leonard and he filed a lawsuit against PepsiCo on the grounds of being fraudulent. This famous court case went up to the federal court. This was known as the Leonard v. PepsiCo, Inc. case.

After the release of the show, people wanted to know if the series would get a second season. Well, the answer to this question is No. The series, Pepsi, Where’s My Jet? will not receive a second season. The series ended its journey with 4 episodes, and the show is not going to return for another season. The creators of the series did not think anything about a second season of the series.
