It’s a cold brutal place where the future of the human race is in deep danger. Ars universe is seriously dealing with a problem of gigantic beasts destroying life around them. Before humans, the beasts were the ones who created lands. After the population increased, humans had to take away the land from them for their needs.
It has been twenty years since human beings are fighting against these angry beasts. But they keep damaging lands and taking away all the resources. The only resistance against them is a breed of gifted warriors and magical beings. The tactical warriors are called nagimori, and beings who can deal with magic are known as kanagi. Only a nagimori can harness the magical power with a kanagi on their side in the war. Giant Beasts of Ars Season 1 shows us Jiiro, a heartbroken nagimori roaming around endlessly. Jiiro lost his war partner in a fierce battle with a giant beast and he is still taking time to recover.
During this time, Jiiro came in contact with Kuumi, who was destined to be a kanagi. Kuumi was having a hard time awakening her magical abilities but she was near. When she came close to Jiiro, he got to know how some people were chasing her. They were all people of Mezami, the evil head who used to conduct illegal research. Soon, Kuumi and Jiiro form a pact – they would fight to save the city from the attacking beasts. In this mission, they take another one called Myaa. The trio started to explore the world of Ars which made them realize the true nature of beasts and humans.
