About Father Amorth
Father Gabriele Amorth was born on 1 May 1925 in Italy. He became a catholic priest in the year 1954. From 1986 his journey as an exorcist began. Father Amorth learnt this from Chief Exorcist Candido Amantini who was a master exorcist at that time. Also, Father Amorth became the founder of the International Association of Exorcists which he founded with the help of Father Rene Chenessau. Till his retirement in 2000, he was the president of this organisation and handled all cases of exorcisms.
In his lifetime he did 50,000 exorcisms and also there were many who had multiple possessions at the same time. Despite all the challenges faced, he became successful in completing all the exorcisms. Also, as shown in the movie there were possessions which were not real and that were mere psychological thinking. So Father is seen to remove this kind of possessions also where he tricks the victim into believing that the demon inside him is killed. He has written many books in which he described his journey and all the exorcisms carried out by him.

The Pope’s Exorcist: Real Events And Upcoming Movies
This movie shows Rosaria who jumped from the roof to her death which is a key to the disappearance of Emanuela who mysteriously disappeared. In this movie, Father Amorth is seen to explain about Rosaria and he says that she was mentally ill. This is directly linked with Emanuela who is thought to be sexually abused in the Vatican. Father Amorth said that Emanuela had been kidnapped by the Vatican Police for sex parties and they had murdered her. So this is what makes Father associated with Emanuela’s disappearance.
