Although William is locked up at the Everglades Correctional Institution, Christopher committed suicide while he was at Florida State Prison in Raiford.

Christopher Lunz was sentenced to life imprisonment in Franklin Correctional Institution. While he was in jail, he told the authorities about killing Gerald Michael Estes. After his transfer to Florida, Christopher killed Nathaniel Taylor. He was a child molester. 30 hours after this, Christopher took his own life. William Westerman is still serving jail time in Everglades while waiting for his scheduled parole in July 2031.

David Lunz Murder Case: More About The Victim And The Incident

If you say you do not remember watching news about murders and crimes and getting scared, you would be lying. One of such cases was that of David Lunz’s murder. When his neighbours couldn’t see him coming out for days, they informed the police. Soon, David’s body was found in a kneeling position, fatally shot.

David was a former U.S. Marine, who recently lost his wife. Christopher Lunz was his only son. The authorities found everything including money, but a gun was missing. After two years, the Wesson revolver was found from a fishing reserve. Simultaneously, Sarah Martini, who was William Westerman’s girlfriend, came to the police and submitted proofs regarding a deep wound on William’s forehead. She reported him having a nasty mood and planning to go for killing someone with his friend. Soon after his a, William spilled the beans about their vicious plan. According to his words, William just accompanied Christopher to murder David in his own residence on 8th March 2003.

Since Christopher already had addiction and other charges before this, the authorities tightened their grip. The police produced both of them before the court. William testified against him, and claimed that he was not the one to pull the trigger. Christopher tried his best to lawyer his way out, blamed William, but the evidences kept piling up against him. The jury sentenced him to life imprisonment. Since William ‘just assisted’ in the murder, he was charged with second degree murder and sentenced for 30 years.
