Okay, fair warning! Rabbit Hole moves at a neck-breaking pace and introduces new characters generously. So, here is how it commences. A seemingly normal man drives a car at a normal speed but he keeps checking in the rearview mirror. Nothing happens then though. It is later confirmed that this paranoid man is our protagonist. This super spy, John Weir, delights in the web of invincible secrets he has surrounded him. Everything is just fun to him, be it solving a high-class cataclysmic situation or relishing in stumping his enemies. When he is arrested for murder by one of his own people, his life is altered drastically. Who? No one knows until the middle of the series.
The person who orchestrated this trap is cut from the same cloth as John. Dr Ben Wilson, a former president, dances to the tune for fun and doesn’t possess a solid reason to target Weir. John, alongside his sassy sidekick, Hailey Winton, is surrounded by a game that could very well end his pristine reputation and well-preserved life.
