Ex-Addicts Club Season 1 Review And Ending Explained: What Was Kori’s Plan?

When it comes to sitcom shows, they have been in the market for quite a long time, and we do know many which are treated as classics and legends in this genre, but in Asian countries, there are barely few sitcoms, which has changed recently and ex-addicts club is one of those shows, which contributed to that.

Ex-addicts club is exactly what the name suggests, a club which was formed for people who are addicted to their exes, it’s not only just an addiction but the different emotions a person feels for their exes, as well as the blind eye they towards their exes regarding everything wrong they have done. Now the main characters in this show, are the five members of this club, and everyone has got some problem related to their love life and exes, which is headed by their leader Raysa, who though helping others to move on, is the one who is the most messed up in her relationship but can’t address it properly. Then another character that has been loved by fans is Kevin, who is just so delusional but also has got problems with mostly everything.

Now the show has done quite well based on the audience response that we have seen, and it is a big step because, in the last few months, we haven’t received many funny Asian shows to be honest, the ratings of the show are quite on the moderate side, but no very high but something that is great about this show is the lesson that was taught at the end.

We sure do get to see a great deal of friendship by the end of the series.

Ex-Addicts Club Season 1 Review

Ex-addicts club, when we look at it as a sitcom, is very small however the action takes place mainly in Raysa’s café which just makes it qualified for a sitcom, however, it is followed by the occasional laughter which is quite necessary for a sitcom. Leaving all that the main story that was shown in the show was very beautiful and portrayed the traits of toxic relationships, how friendship works, and that there has to be something which everyone holds on to., whatever is supposed to happen will happen and no one will be able to change that, thus we shouldn’t just push each other and stick on to what we actually feel.

The characters that have been portrayed in this show have been acted very well, and without them, the show wouldn’t ever be this engaging, though there is not a bit of realism in it,  if you are looking for a small entertainer you can definitely go for this show.
