In 2015 he was arrested on charges of acts of violence perpetrated by him on innocent masses. In that act, YNW Melly was accused of shooting three people. He was immediately arrested after this case.
However, in 2017, he was arrested once again when he violated the terms under which he was released. The police found him involved in a drug case. YNW Melly was apprehended, and drug packets were also discovered. Hence, he had been arrested once again.
