It is a 36-episode series that premiered on May 6, 2019, on SBS the series depicts the story of a young entrepreneur named Do Min Ik who suffers from face blindness he changes his secretary every year but he finds a secretary named Jung Gal Hee who sticks by his side throughout his ups and downs. The series has been watched by 42,276 who have rated it 8.1 on my drama list everyone has liked the premise of the series even though it is a typical office rom-com series it has managed to make it more interesting with creative plot twists and the main lead's face blindness illness which is quite unique. The secret life of my secretary is extremely popular among netizens because of the popular memes related to one character in the series named Veronica Park played by Kim Jae Kyung. Secret Life Of My Secretary Season 1 Recap The series begins with a girl named Jung Gal Hee whose mother dies in an accident 10 years later in the present day the viewers were introduced to a young CEO named Do Min Ik who owns the T&T company. He has a best friend named Ki Dae Joo and his secretary Jung Gal Hee works very hard so that she can send her brother to study abroad but this dream of her gets shattered when her boss's best friend Ki Dae Joo tells her that Do Min Ik does change his secretary every year. She plans to save her job by impressing her boss by working hard when the two of them participate in a sports competition and win it. After the competition, Do Min Ik tells Jung Gal Hee that her contract is over and she does not need to show up to the office anymore GalHee desperately tries to make him acknowledge that she is a very hard-working employee however that does not work out. The next night Do Min Ik was waiting for his best friend Ki Dae Joo in a boat but his friend does not show up and he was attacked by a stranger. In the meantime, GalHee shows up at the same place and she saves him from the attacker. When Minik wakes up in the hospital he could not recognise anyone he starts panicking but when Galhee shows up he recognises her the doctor tells the two of them that Do Minik is suffering from face blindness.
