But before your journey even comes to an end, you find yourself right amid something terrible. On 24th December 1999, a flight of Indian Airlines, IC 814, was all set to start from Kathmandu and reach Delhi. On board, there were 11 crew members and a total of 178 passengers. Everything was going fine until the aircraft reached mid-air – among the passengers, some rose and started to threaten others. They were men, who dressed themselves in robes but they were keeping the disguise of normal passengers. In reality, they were all terrorists who were just trying to take control of the whole aircraft for their purpose.
The terrorists were followers of Masood Azhar – soon before this happened, the Indian Government jailed Masood Azhar for his terrorising acts. After they gained control of IC 814, the terrorists kept on relocating the vessel to different locations. They took passengers as hostages and they had to stay in different locations like Kandahar, which was far from Indian aerospace. A week of resilience and hell followed where the passengers were tortured, stabbed and terrorised. Will the captains be able to make a narrow escape?
