Decades have passed by, but those few shocking murders which were executed by him and his fellow followers still give us goosebumps! This takes us back to the old city of California. Charles might be dead but how can we forget about the devilish group he had formed? 

The people who followed him are collectively known as the Manson Family and thus we come to the main discussion of the day. As per various online sources, a few of his family members are still alive! Charles used to brainwash people and that’s how he expanded his group! But after his final arrest, all his crimes were exposed and so were his family members. But you will be highly shocked to see how these young women were swiftly manipulated by him! Even during his prolonged imprisonment a woman named Afton Elaine Burton was engaged to him! 9. Leslie Van Houten

Let’s start our discussion with Leslie Van Houten. As per our research, her petition has been accepted by the court. A few days ago, she was finally released from prison. She has changed her name numerous times and is surely counted among the integral members of the Manson family. Her parole has been rejected many times by the court. But after serving a total of 53 years in jail, she has ultimately changed herself for the better.

8. Susan Atkins

When talking about Manson’s followers, how can we miss out on the name of Susan Atkins? She was involved in a total of eight murders and as per various online sources, she is no longer alive. As per the records available, she particularly died in 2009 and was also seen as California’s longest-serving female inmate. She is also known for stabbing Tate and tasting the blood of the corpse. Again, during her last few years of living, she was diagnosed with brain cancer and ultimately, she took her last breath in Chowchilla.

7. Bobby Beausoleil

Next on our list is a very dear friend of Manson, Robert Kenneth Beausoleil. He is still very much alive and his recent parole petition was again rejected by the court. As per the information collected by us, he had stabbed Gary Hinman and was arrested back in 1969! For the crimes he has done, he was sentenced to death. But again in 1972, his life imprisonment period was reduced a bit! Besides the crimes he has committed, he is also known to be a good musician. But unfortunately due to his wrong deeds, he will never get the opportunity to showcase his talent to the whole world. 

6. Patricia Krenwinkel

Just like some of the known followers of Charles, Patricia Krenwinkel was also charged with a bunch of murder cases. As per reports, seven first-degree murder charges were filed against her. This happened back in 1971 but even after years, her petition for parole was never accepted by the court. Last year, the California State Board of Parole Hearings did consider her release request. But soon, it was blocked by the government! People still assume her to be a serious threat to the whole world. 

5. Dianne Lake 

At the mere age of 14, she became a part of the Manson family. She was surely known to be the youngest member of the cult group. But unlike others, she started understanding and retracting from the erroneous side effects of the devilish cult group. When she learned about the murders that happened in the city, she backed off from the Manson family and still feels happy to have considered that decision. She was never involved in any of the crimes committed by the Manson family. As per recent sources, she is currently a mother of three and is also seen as a teacher and writer. 

4. Lynette “Squeaky” Fromme

Another name that appears on our list is Lynette Fromme. Out of fear, many of the followers did testify against Charles, but Fromme was still quite determined to stand alongside Manson. As per various online sources, she and some other Manson family members camped outside and voiced up for the release of Charles  Manson. But again, Fromme was never involved with the Tate-LaBianca murder case. Her conviction came in 1975, heavy charges were pressed against her for attacking President Gerald R. Ford! She was jailed for a lifetime, but interestingly, her parole was granted by the court. She was released in 2009 and a few years back she has also published a book named Reflexion.

3. Linda Kasabian

She joined the Manson Family in 1969, and as per reports before that, she was highly depressed about her whole life. But unlike others, she decided to tell the truth to the whole world. She is still seen as the main witness in the Tate-LaBianca murder case. Every word she presented was cross-checked and found true, as per various online sources, she was the one who revealed Manson’s main goal to the court. Obviously, for her honest testimony, she was given immunity! Again, she also confirmed that the females involved in the cult group will obey every word of Charles! If we are not wrong, she supposedly changed her name and was staying somewhere in the Pacific Northwest. But this year, particularly around the end of January, she passed away.

2. Afton Elaine Burton

Particularly in the year 2014, Manson decided to get engaged to Afton Elaine Burton. Their wedding license initially expired the very next year, but the noticeable thing is, sources confirmed that both of them were just using one another for their respective benefits. They never really got married. But Afton tried a lot to gather more followers for Manson. Moreover, she also created a ton of online pages and websites to prove Charles’ innocence. 

1. Mary Brunner 

Last on our list is Mary Brunner, the first woman who could have done everything to be with Manson. Sources also confirmed that she shared a child with Manson. Moreover, she also hijacked a plane to blackmail the system for the instant release of Charles Manson. If we are not wrong, her sentence period was about 20 years long. But soon in 1977, she was released from her prison cell. Since then, not much is known about her. But one thing is for sure, if she is alive, she can be a major threat to many!
