Forever Season 2 Release Date
After the great success of season 1 of the show Forever, the audiences felt that there would be another part of the show as well, to continue the love between the couple in the show. Even it was said by the creators to renew the show soon some of the interviews.
Unfortunately, a year later in 2019, the creators announced the show has been canceled for further seasons and will not b renewed for the next season, as they haven’t yet prepared to continue the story of the show and are not even interested in continuing the show further.

What Is The Show ‘Forever’ About?
The romantic series ‘Forever’ premiered on September 14, 2018, on Amazon Prime Video with a total of 8 episodes, showing the before and after life of the couple of their deaths. The story revolves around Oscar and June Hoffman played by Fred Armisen and Maya Rudolph respectively.
The couple met at a bar and fall in love with each other. They lived a life of daily same routine and were bored of the life and full of stress. Oscar’s wife June advises and convinces him to go out for a vacation. As they go out on vacation, Oscar asks June to ski and she refuses. While Oscar enjoys skiing in the snow and June chilling in the bar, Oscar meets with an accident and dies there.
June returns home but is in deep sorrow as she is depressed about her husband’s death. Soon she is visited by their close friend Sharon, who suggests she join a new job, she is invited to work in a company in Hawaii and while traveling to Hawaii, June is choked with a nut on her windpipe and dies there.
The story now takes a turn, not an end to the story, Oscar is been waiting for her wife June to join him in this afterlife world, where all the dead people are termed as ‘Formers’ and the alive people are termed as “Currents”. The husband out of love waited for his wife and they two get reunited.
Oscar had a friend in that world Mark who taught them how to confront the Currents and take their place to live there. June and Oscar now do the same and were living in the riverside living the same boring life. Soon they were joined by a neighbor Kase. She was a Former quite strange. Soon Kase and June became friends.
As June was again bored and asked for a vacation from Oscar and he refused, one morning she along with Kase left for oceanside leaving a letter for Oscar. Now, Oscar along with his friend Mark leaves for the ocean in anger and asks June for divorce.
After separating he leaves alone for their riverside home, but comes across many strangers and returns to June cinfessing his love. They both were again reunited in love and soon they both walked into the ocean saving their lives from these strangers and trusting each other’s plans.

The series ‘Forever’ is co-developed by Matt Hubbard and Alan Yang. The series has two protagonists of the story, Fred Armisen starring Oscar Hoffman, the husband, and Maya Rudolph starring June Hoffman, the wife.
The other cast of the show includes Noah Robbins starring Mark Erickson, a friend of Oscar in the afterlife world; Catherine Keener starring Kase, a friend of June and their neighborhood in the afterlife world; Kym Whitley staring Sharon, June’s friend in the real-life world; Charles Emmett starring Jim, Sharon Omi starring Mrs. Nakajima, Cooper Friedman starring Josiah, Obba Babatunde starring Gregory and Julia Ormond starring Marisol.
