Plot Of Film ’12 Strong’. 

The story film is set on the battlegrounds of Afghanistan where the U.S. Army troops along with Afghan Army men formed an alliance and fought against the Taliban. The main aim of both countries isn’t only to win the fight against the Taliban but also to win the hearts of people and spread peace and harmony to partake in a good bond of fellowship between the two countries.

The story begins with the U.S. Army Captain Mitch Nelson heading the army platoon, known as functional Detachment Nascence 595( ODA 595) during attacks. As the attack started Captain and his platoon got a charge to form an alliance with the Afghan army led by General Abdul Rashid Dostum and fight a war against the Taliban. The alliance formed between them is named The Northern Alliance.

The American Armymen faces a lot of challenges and struggles as they had to cooperate with the changed home of Afghanistan. They’ve to fight the battle against the Taliban as well as the problem of being in a new place. piecemeal from facing problems with the platoon, they also have to fill the gaps between the American and the Afghan militaries as they’re different from each other due to their societies and rules of course.  

The fight amongst the leaders of both the militaries also surfaced leading to Dostum leaving the war ground and Nelson continuing to fight against the Taliban. The fight made a long way but The Northern Alliance won the war against the Taliban and saved their men.  

The film ended with the men and the country celebrating their palms and some grieving for their loss. The film showcases the theme of frippery, courage, and offerings of the dogfaces as they indulge in war.
