Yakitori: Soldiers Of Misfortune Story: What Is The Anime About?
Yakitori: Soldiers Of Misfortune is an anime that is going to be based on the future version of the Earth. In this version, the Earth is not like the present one. Instead, it has been captured by aliens and they have been carrying an oppressive rule on our planet. To fight these aliens, various forces are forming, but ultimately nothing conclusive is happening.
In this scenario of despair, the protagonist Akira dreams of freeing his planet from the rule of these aliens. Reminds us of Eren from Attack On Titan for sure. However, Akira does not know how to join the Yakitori Force. He has been trying hard to gain their attention, but failing. But, one fine day he gets recruited into the force. The twist lies in the fact that he has been recruited as an ‘expendable foot soldier’ (according to Netflix’s synopsis) and nothing more.
Akira has to utilize this very opportunity to showcase his talents and determination. No matter how small the chance is, he has to use it completely. Will Akira be successful in his mission? Will he ultimately be able to carry out his job? What will be the fate of Akira? If you want answers to these questions, you will have to wait till the anime gets released on Netflix on 18th May 2023.
