The animated series Sonic Prime is based on the famous video game Sonic the Hedgehog. It is produced by Sega of America, Man of Action Entertainment, Netflix Animation, and WildBrain Studios.
The first part of the series had 8 episodes in total namely, episode 1, Shattered, episode 2, The Yokes on You, episode 3, Escape from New Yoke, episode 4, Unwelcome to the Jungle, episode 5, Barking up the Wrong Tree, episode 6, Situation: Grim, episode 7, It Takes One To No Place and episode 8, Ther’s No ARGH in Team.
Sonic while fighting in a battle with Dr. Eggman, broke down the precious artifact into pieces with his powers, and shards of the Paradox Prism got shattered everywhere, destroying the universe itself.
Another multi-universe was formed with shattered pieces of shards prism named “Shatterverse”. Each multiverse formed had one of the pieces of the broken prism and had different versions of friends of Sonic.
Further, in the story, the futuristic world of Green Hill was ruled by the group of Eggman variants, who was known to be from the Chaos Council. they tried to conquer the place from Sonic’s rule but were opposed to the shield formed by Sonic’s friends in a futuristic world.
The first part of the series Sonic ends with Sonic trying to explore other places of Shatterspaces to regain the shattered pieces of prism and assemble into the original to get back to the original universe.
