Flightplan Season 1 Ending Explained

Before coming to the ending of the movie, we will like to discuss the setting of the movie, we see Kyle here who is an aircraft engineer and she is basically traveling with her husband’s dead body in a casket who has died a few days back after falling from the roof, and suddenly she realizes her daughter Julie is not with her in the middle of the flight. She goes on searching everywhere but according to reports Julie also died in the fall with her father and people thought that Kyle was just hallucinating or was going through some mental trauma, this is the time when the two airplane hosts, Carson and Stephanie, try to help her and calm her down.

Now moving forward, we see the true faces of Carson who has got explosives in the casket of Kyle’s husband he goes on and activates the bomb, and frames Kyle as the hijacker of the plane asking for ransom. Soon when this is happening Kyle gets to know about the plan of Carson among the chaos and when this is all happening, she decides she will play on the plan and help the passengers as well as find her daughter Julie in any way possible. When the plane landed, the passengers were taken to safety, while Stephanie runs away after having some confrontations with Carson.

Carson decides it’s enough and he will kill off Kyle and Julie, but while he tries to do so, Kyle ends up detonating the bomb and fighting with Carson, and finally killing him. Soon we end up fighting that they leave the airplane unharmed and with Julie, which brings out the entire truth regarding her story.

In the end, we see Kyle and Julie returning back to their home all safe, while Carson is dead and Stephanie is taken under arrest. The money that has been wired has been taken back and all the passengers end up applauding for what Kyle has done for them and fighting the injustice. Overall, the ending was full of action and that is why there was so much chaos, Kyle was the true hero and the truth about Carson needed to come out some way or another.
