Season 2 of the series also has 3 episodes with the detective solving different criminal cases.
In episode 1 “Plague on Amsterdam” van Der Valk and his team were investigating the suspicious murder of the girl Susie and found a note in his jacket that had a weird connection with the philosopher.
In episode 2 “Blood in Amsterdam” the detective and his teammates solve the mystery murder case of the employee of Cuypers Diamonds, the famous jewelry shop. Van Der Valk tries to find out the clue to reach the culprit and then on the way finds out different interlinked cases.
In episode 3 “Payback in Amsterdam” there is a case of the murder of an orchestra member by an acid attack. As he proceeds with the case investigation, Van Der Valk finds out new clues regarding the culprit and tries to solve the case further.
