When Malena Carregal (Celeste Cid) married Marcos Gutierrez (Gonzalo Valenzuela), she never considered her relationship will end up her career–or she would ever separate from Marcos. But then, after struggling to save her flailing marriage countless times, Malena gives up and decides to divorce Marcos. Since she works at Marcos’ corporation as an event planner, Malena also has to lose her job. Dejected and crestfallen, Malena comes across a long-lost friend of hers, Cali.
Under Cali’s influence, Malena decides to build an empire of her own against Marcos’. She establishes her own event planning agency but managing her teenage son quickly becomes a chaotic task. Malena is then left to balance her complicated relationship with her son and manage her demanding profession. It might seem easy on the surface but when you dive deep, it is not the glamorous task it appears to be.
Planners Season 2 will walk on the same path. This rom-com will continue showcasing Malena’s journey as she becomes a self-dependent entrepreneur and dedicated mother and maybe, she will find someone special this time!
