Is Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan A Remake ?

As usual, Salman Khan like every year has come with a new Eid special and that is Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. Now this movie has been at the box office since the first week of its release and there has been a lot of hype regarding the movie, like each and every movie, Salman Khan brings into the industry. With high hopes and a lot of money on stake, the movie has been doing pretty well, however, the second week of the movie in the theatres has been going a bit slower than expected.

Following this, the story has been very cliché but quite attractive where our own Salman bhai plays the role of a single guy, who is very well-natured and loves in complete peace with his brothers, whom he loves a lot and would go to any extent using violence to solve any problems faced by them. However, he doesn’t have a girlfriend but slowly starts falling in love with a girl who hates his side of violence.

However, to save this girl and protect his family or favorite bhaijaan has to resort to violence because some old rivals are after the family for a long time. This is the basic plot of the movie.

Now many of you will be finding it very similar to a South Indian movie that goes by the name of Veeram. This movie was another hit and shares the same kind of plot as the first one. Thus there have been many queries in the industry with the recent hype regarding adapting South Indian movies, has Salman Bhai also brought us something which is a remake or an adaption of the original movie Veeram? The big answer that you have been wanting is no. The directors have already made it clear that it is neither a remake nor an adaption

Between the two movies, we may find many similarities but there have been many differences in the storyline as well as the character setting. The storyline may seem very similar at the start but towards the end of the movie, the plot completely changes and there are many plot twists Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan is much more interesting and worth the hype.

The first difference that we have to notice is that as we move into the second half of the movie, there are many songs and dramatic scenes which are filled with comedy and drama unlike the movie Veeram, which is packed with rough action scenes, which was much in hype back in. we have also got some changes in the character.

The character played by Venkatesh who is the character of the rowdy goon kind, is actually o the heroine’s brother in the movie Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, whereas back in Veeram this role basically belonged to the father of the heroine and not the brother.

Other than this if we move towards other differences, without giving out any spoilers we have to consider the fact that this movie has got much more twists and turns in the plot towards the end scenes, and the characters have been modified and added a lot of particularities which we don’t get to see in the movie veteran. Therefore every person who has watched Veeram, may go and watch Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan without any fear of getting bored in the theatres or getting the same content in both movies.
