Romantic comedy animes have always taken us by chance. No matter how the story turns out to be, we always fell in love with the characters. The same is with this anime called Otonari no Tenshi-sama ni Itsunomanika Dame Ningen ni Sareteita Ke or The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten which was released in January 2023.
According to the critics there is not much the show has offered in terms of storyline but this anime has definitely made a huge fan base all around the globe. The anime is adapted from Saekisan’s Japanese light novel series of the same name.
The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten explores the story of two teenagers, one is very hardworking in terms of school and the other one isn’t that much. But when the duo gets together and learns they live next door to each other, that’s when feelings start. They discover some weird feelings towards each other which are love and they try to manage this with their school life and family. As Episode 12 of the anime concluded, most of us are wondering when will season 13 be released, so here’s everything we know.

The first episode of the anime premiered on the 7th of January, 2023. All episodes weren’t released at once, there was a weekly schedule. The fourth episode concluded on 25th March 2023. And we haven’t heard about episode 13 yet because episode 12 was the last episode of the show, so there won’t be another episode in season 1.
Now, coming to what could happen next? We will have to wait until the original makers announce the show for a second season as season 1 has finally been concluded.
Well, the good news is the anime has already been renewed for season 2 just before season 1 came to conclusion. The makers went to Twitter and posted that the anime has already been renewed for the second season, but no release date has been announced yet.
So, we have plenty to look forward to. If an anime gets adapted from a manga or light novel series, the major part for renewing a series depends upon it, and since season one has only covered the first four chapters of the novel out of 8 which are published, we can expect further seasons with no worry.
And the novel series is currently ongoing, so we could expect more from the anime.

The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten Episode 13 Story
As already mentioned the anime is about two teenagers, Mahiru and Amane. At the end of season one, we saw, Mahiru and Amane finally dating each other. After 11 episodes, we finally saw what we were waiting for. Now, they have to deal with all the stuff that comes with being in a relationship. They might become a hot topic in the class, and they have to manage that too.
And they also have so much time to do so, summer vacations have already started and Mahiru will stay with Amane at his parents house. So, they can make their relationship more stronger. Amane’s parents have started to love Mahiru and they love spending time with her. Amane’s feelings are getting more stronger, and now he knows how lucky he is, to have Mahiru in his life. He decides to protect her no matter what.
At the end of episode 12, we saw the fest that the high school organized. Season 2 might continue from here, it could explore their relationship more, how they get fond of each other each passing day. There might be some breakups as well. We will have to wait to get any confirmation regarding the storyline.
