Back to Jinny’s Kitchen season 2, we don’t have much information. But that doesn’t mean it won’t be happening. If anything, everything points towards the return of this show. Be it growing views or appreciative comments, season 1 has been received warmly. Since it is currently in its first season and its episodes are being released weekly, we don’t want to rush into anything. Jinny’s Kitchen is led by the Youn’s Kitchen star, Lee Seo-Jin. The popular Korean actor who has enacted in several reality shows is now leading Jinny’s Kitchen as well. Seo-Jin is an amazing actor but even more than that, he is an excellent team leader and estate agent who knows where to invest in.
Another Youn’s Kitchen star, Park Seo-Joon has joined the cast list of this reality cooking show. He manages the restaurant and has a significant amount of importance bestowed upon him like the rest of the team members. The next member, the director of the restaurant is Jung Yu-Mi. The Train To Busan starer, Yu-Mi has been doing a remarkable job directing the team towards the right direction.
The other team members include the P. R manager, Choi Woo Shik. Shik’s main responsibility is to publicize the restaurant as much as possible and so far he’s been doing a great job, too. And of course, the dishwashing fairy of Jinny’s Kitchen, Kim Tae-Hyung aka V. He is probably the reason why we are all enjoying Jinny’s Kitchen a bit more than we would have had V not been a part of it. All of these cast members are expected to return when Jinny’s Kitchen season 2 arrives.
Will Other Members Of BTS Star In Jinny’s Kitchen Season 2?
With each of these K-pop idols busy with their schedules, we don’t get to witness them together much, do we? Ever since BTS members disbanded, K-pop fans try to find any reason they could to watch them come together again. Is Jinny’s Kitchen one such reason for them to reunite? Seems like a far-fetched expectation right now. Watching all the members join the series might be too assumptious of us but expecting them to become at least guests on the show isn’t too much, right?
Well, since the makers are quiet and aren’t responding to the queries, we cannot expect them to reveal such a piece of huge news this soon. So far we have got no idea if any other BTS members join V or if is V going to take on the show alone. As its name suggests, Jinny’s Kitchen, is a trending cookery show brought to us by Seo-Jin and his team. We have all witnessed how difficult it is to let a foreign country embrace our food habits and taste, right? In this series, all of these cast members are trying to do something parallel to the aforementioned concept. They are trying to establish a Korean restaurant and let the Mexicans have a taste of Korean street foods.
This is a reality TV cooking show in which we get to witness several aspects of each character. Right from the director, who spends a while choosing the perfect place for his dream restaurant, to everyone else. Be it V as an intern or Seo Joon as the manager, each of the team members has to contribute to the success of the restaurant. Jinny’s Kitchen records the journey of this team of five right from buying the restaurant to cooking and serving the dish. It is a true tale of struggle and strength fueled by laughter and fun-filled moments.
Jinny’s Kitchen Season 1 Review
Starting with the concept, it is worth noting that the makers have tried to bring something out of the box for us. It isn’t just another cooking show, it is about starting a restaurant from scratch. When you are trying to establish your restaurant in another country, it is one tough endeavour. Jinny’s Kitchen does a stellar job highlighting the struggles and passion of Seo-Jin and his team. When episode 1 rolled down and we witnessed how funnily awkward V was, we knew Jinny’s Kitchen would be a comedy-induced cooking show.
Since the show’s name is based on Seo-Jin’s name, we expected Seo-Jin to cook and present some authentic Korean dishes to it. But we never expected that Jinny’s Kitchen wouldn’t be just a food recipe guide. That surprise element works highly in the favor of the show. What doesn’t work though is the prolonged issues they face, sometimes these issues feel fake. Like, sudden rainfalls and no customers seem overdramatic at times. The presence of V does add an element of intrigue to the show. But the other cast members like Seo-Joon, the head chef, and Woo-Shik are equally fascinating as well. Overall, the show is phenomenal and has much more to offer the cookery shows enjoying fans.
