Why Is The Best Man: The Final Chapters Season 2 Won’t Be Happening?
The Best Man: The Final Chapters was the ride back to the 90s, it was strangely nostalgic even though the series is set in the present time. The storyline is fresh and doesn’t feel like an exaggeration at all. But at some point you have to let go of things, how long could you hold it anyway? The director of this series, Malcolm D. Lee feels the same way.
He claims that this was the end of the series and he doesn’t have more to tell. If he brings forward a second season, it would be a mere exaggeration and we all know Lee doesn’t do that. He feels as if this was the perfect conclusion for the franchise and that it is high time we bid goodbye to them.
Lee also mentioned that he’s not ready for one more The Best Man series now, but in the future, he might be ready to revisit. We all know this series took 14 years after The Best Man: Holiday movie and its predecessor was released 14 years before that. So, it wouldn’t be fair to rule out the possibility just yet. Maybe, wait for 14 years more to do that!
The Best Man: The Final Chapters Season 1 Review
Introducing us to Lance, Harper, Quentin, Jordan, Murch, Candy, and Shelby once again, this series was the perfect nostalgic kick to start the year. We all know how our infamous best man, Harper, has been the most clumsy yet beloved character of the series. He’s back with a bang, this time harboring more responsibilities than ever.
All the characters have aged a little, they are now mature enough to deal with life without causing episodes of drama. The actors are playing brilliantly but the storyline seems a bit rushed. It’s okay though, we get to spend enough time with our favorite characters in the end. And as Malcolm said, this is the perfect conclusion to the series.
