You Season 4 Part 2 Release Date Is Now Out! Know When Your Favourite Series Is Coming To You!

Okay, we know stalking and violence are not something we should enjoy. We shouldn’t be enjoying murders and getting thrilled by that prospect. We also know a psychopath shouldn’t be as fascinating as Joe Goldberg is. With a smirk and charm like Goldberg’s, a sociopath becomes ten times more attractive and the series becomes a hundred times more alluring.

You is currently in its fourth season and its popularity is increasing every day. One of the most highly-grossing series, You, has become our favorite series. And though we all know this isn’t a normal series and contains some disturbing scenes, it has become our guilty pleasure. Today, we’re exploring more about this series, specifically about You season 4 part 2 release date and its details!

You Season 4 Part 2: What Could Be The Story This Time?

You Season 4 Part 2 Release Date

Season 4 will pick up from where season 3 ended, with Joe traveling to the city of love and painting the streets red. In this season, Joe isn’t the ultimate mastermind, there is someone on top of time. Perhaps, it is Love who is speculated to be still alive and on vengeance. Since they both have the same pattern and Love is probably the only one who knows Goldberg the best, we cannot deny the possibility.

Season 4 part 2’s plot depends heavily on the cliffhangers of season 4 part 1 which we are now aware of. We know how Joe has quickly transformed into prey from a predator and how it is weighing on him. We got to know who is Joe’s prey this time and how she is nearing her death with every second that she disrupts his so-called peace. Kate is no stranger to mind games though, she appears to be as sick as Joe and a replacement for Joe’s ex-wife, Love.

You Season 4 Part 2: Why Is The Plot Even More Intriguing Than The Others?

Since part 1 has introduced us to Joe’s stalker, season 2 could portray Joe’s struggle to come out unscathed. Or we could see his downfall which seems more likely given that every psychopath in this industry has tasted dust in the end. Joe wouldn’t be an exception, he’d have to accept defeat and this time pay for his sins. Hopefully, Kate wouldn’t end up being another Love who falls victim to Joe’s traps and ends up dead.

What makes this part even more interesting is that there is someone who has targeted our protagonist–or more like an antagonist who is wrapped in the outfit of a protagonist. Joe has always considered himself the master of the world, never for once peered down and thought of anyone but himself. And though we have enjoyed his story a lot, his downfall wouldn’t be dull either. Hopefully, it would be as interesting as it could be!

You Season 4 Part 2: Who Is In The Cast This Season?

You Season 4 Part 2 Release Date

For a series that centers around a stalker and is heavily dependent on him, You has certainly made the right casting choice. In the three seasons we have witnessed so far, we have been introduced to hundreds of different actors who have either helped Joe succeed or wind up dead. This season, too, we have a rich cast ensemble that keeps us on our toes with our breaths lodged in our throats.

Joe Goldberg turned Will, now identified as Jonathan Moore, is notorious for switching names, identities, and obsessions. Brought to us by the immensely talented Penn Badgley, Joe is a psychotic killer and stalker who winds up killing people he supposedly likes. Many people believe that it is Badgley who has breathed life into this series and so do we.

Though the second leads and side characters keep changing every season, You season 4 part is expected to have the same cast members from part 1. Though other characters could probably change, Joe’s new obsession, Kate, will be seen in part 2 as well. Brought to us by Charlotte Ritchie, Kate is an amazing addition to the series. Hopefully, other characters like Nadia and Adam would be back as well.

Is You Season 4 The Last Instalment In The Series?

You season 4 is rumored to be the conclusion to this franchise. Since Netflix is notorious for streaming only the best of the shows. And canceling them after a few seasons, these speculations rank high on the truth spectrum. However, we have no confirmation yet and we are keeping our hopes high.

Now, it all depends on season 4 part 2’s storyline and success. With the direction, this story seems to be heading towards, all You fans are concerned regarding the future of the franchise. Now that the makers have introduced a competitor for Joe who seems to know more about him than his ex-wife did. If this predator ends up defeating Joe, we wouldn’t only lose our protagonist but the series as well.

You Series: Just A Hyped-Up Series Or Worth It?

Who said predators hide? Some even lurk in broad daylight and feast on people they are fond of. Their murderous tendencies and stalkerish behaviors often go unnoticed and people fall victim to them easily. Joe Goldberg is one such predator who stays in front of you and smiles at you. But in their mind, they are plotting your death.

You is a series that follows the same old I-am-not-a-killer-but-a-saviour trope. Even though Joe kills everyone who catches his attention, he does it because it is his nature. Yes, he is the scorpion from our beloved bedtime stories who is helpless to his nature. And despite that, we have somehow yielded to his charm. That Cheshire grin and those elaborated monologues have swept us all from our feet.

It is an amazingly crafted series. The cast and crew members have most definitely worked hard to bring this series to us. It does justice to its genre but there are points where Joe’s monologue seems boring and extensive. Why would we want to hear him constantly think that he’s getting better only to end up worse than before?

But we do understand that the makers are trying to portray Joe in all his messed-up glory. Give this series a try if you can stomach a bit of violence, can keep up with the changing pace, and secretly–if not openly–enjoy watching psychopaths and their journey.

Why The Name “You”?

Since the series is inspired by a novel series of the same name, we know how closely fans have been following it. This is why the name of this series has garnered a lot of attention from everyone–fans, critics, and haters alike. Portrayed brilliantly by Penn Badgley, Joe Goldberg is a mystery not many people have been able to solve, just like the name of the series is.

Just like every aspect of this series, the name holds quite a significance as well. It is speculated that the name of the series is a direct jab at Joe’s personality, taunting him to look at himself more than he focuses on others’ lives. And this is not an exaggeration, Goldberg spends most of his time spying on people and inserting himself into the lives of his targets.
