But despite those challenges and criticism, at the end of the day, the popularity of Game of Thrones never really diminished. Were Fans Disappointed With The Ending Of Game Of Thrones?

Sadly, the rumors are true, many did question the ending of Game of Thrones! Season 8 felt a bit rushed, we were looking for a more intense and clean ending, but the sudden plot change truly took us by surprise. The twists and turns incorporated into the show shocked us to the core. A new book penned by Martin, namely, The Winds of Winter is about to launch soon, this will add up to the original novel series and initially, fans were expecting to see the adaptation of this story in Game of Thrones Season 8. But we all know what happened ultimately, Martin was taking too long to write up his story and HBO couldn’t wait any further to wrap up the tale of Game Of Thrones! 

Season 8 surely could have been better. We do think the same, HBO and the showrunners of Game of Thrones could have waited for the release of The Winds of Winter, this would have heavily increased the popularity of GOT! Nonetheless, the Jon Snow sequel can be a huge success for HBO. This might be a chance for them to build a renewed reputation for Game Of Thrones.
