The makers haven’t confirmed the series yet which could be a bit disheartening since season 1 is premiering in late 2022. But the possibility of this season is very high since it is a visual representation of a 10-volume manga and season 1 hasn’t quite covered anything yet. Eminence In Shadow Season 2 Story
Season 1 of this anime series follows Cid Kagenou who was hit by a truck in his previous life and is now reincarnated to fulfil a prominent goal. Cid isn’t aware of any details, he believes everything around him is a part of role-playing and everything is make-believe. This unrealistic belief in Cid leads to various conflicts which result in drastic wars at times.
Season 2 of this brilliantly crafted anime is expected to help Cid realize that everything around him is quite real. As much as we enjoy Cid’s innocent oblivion, we cannot go on for long with it. In this season, we would also like to witness Cid and Alexia’s relationship bloom. Also, Claire’s role could get significant since she has been possessed by Diablos.
Eminence In Shadow Season 2: Who Could Be In The Cast List?
The main protagonist of this series, Cid Kagenou, is voiced by Seiichiro Yamashita in Japanese and Adam Gibbs in English. He is secretly the leader of a cult that fights off the devilish Cult of Diablos and often ends up in trouble because of his oblivion. He is quite entertaining and has an interesting personality that makes his presence beloved by the audience.
The entire series is centered around Cid but multiple characters support him throughout his journey. These characters include Alexia Midgar, a princess who has deep feelings towards Cid but is reluctant to express herself, Claire Kagenou, Cid’s super possessive older sister, and the seven warriors of the Shadow Garden. All these characters are expected to be seen in season 2.

Eminence In Shadow Season 1: Is It Worth Watching?
We have seen multiple fantasy animes so far, haven’t we? So, when a new anime arrives, it has to have some unique concepts to it. This anime doesn’t beat the previously running animes but yes, it has some elements that make it stand out a bit. The names of the characters are quite hilarious. For instance, all the soldiers of Shadow Garden are named after Greek alphabets, which does add a bit of experimental humor to it.
The storyline is a bit too fictional to be believable but as the series progresses, we come to terms with everything. Cid has quite a reputation as all he cares about is being cool. When his Shadow persona comes through, the anime series becomes one amazing treat. Hopefully, season 2 won’t keep us waiting for long.
