Season 2 of The Alchemy Of Souls takes us on a wild emotional ride with our main characters, Jang Uk and Naksu, who have forgotten their previous lives. At the end of season 1, our beautiful couple foregoes their memories after a tragic accident. In this season, the Daeho universe takes a three-year gap and presents to us our magical power-packed couple living in solitude. Both of them are striving without each other and trying to fill a wide hole with abundant work.
So far, we have witnessed the eye-catching reunion of our couple. Though their memories are still buried deep, their emotions have started to surface. In this episode, we will be witnessing Jang Uk and Naksu stepping closer to attaining their memories back. They will embark on a journey to fight off their enemies and relive the magical connection they have.
Alchemy Of Souls Cast And Character
This series revolves around Jang Uk and Naksu, the star-crossed lovers amid a forbidden world of magic and secrets. Jang Uk is a notorious troublemaker; he uses mischievous tricks to distract himself from the harsh glares he is usually accused of. It is because of his ability to transfer souls from one body to another. He is extremely gifted but doesn’t know how to use his talent. Jang Uk was created by the extremely talented Lee Jae Wook.
Naksu, portrayed by Jung So Min, is a cold-blooded assassin who is forced to switch souls with a timid Mudeok. She possesses numerous abilities but is unable to use them due to the frail body she has trapped herself in. Since Naksu cannot use her own body because of her dangerous enemies, she ends up serving Jang Uk. He immediately recognises her, even if she tries to play the shy and weak Mudeok perfectly. Naksu ends up training Jang Uk after they get over their initial awkwardness and secrets.
Other major characters include Seo Yul, Jang Uk’s insightful friend, and Jin Choyeon, Jang’s not-so-secret admirer. There are various other characters in this series who make the bright, magical world of Daehyo worth watching.
