Ever since the first season of How The Universe Works, we have been getting to know things about planets and the universe that we couldn’t even have thought of. We have discovered the creation of black holes, the interaction between galaxies, and the truth behind supernovas. Moreover, we got to explore the foreign concepts of dark matter, a ninth planet in the solar system, and death stars.
Who would have guessed that a planet made entirely of diamonds exists? But we only learned about its existence because of this series. We could never have predicted the existence of a black hole in the centre of our galaxy. The How The Universe Works series has truly shown us what our universe is made of and how it works.
Narrated to us by Mike Rowe for ten seasons, with the second and eighth being hosted by Erik Dellums, this series has presented us with hundreds of concepts. With 88 episodes presented to us so far, this series has established itself as the leading astronomical documentary. If we get this eleventh season, this franchise will be crossing the 100-episode mark soon.
