What is the show Dead To Me about?
The series, Dead to Me is a dark comedy series. There is a recently widowed woman Jen who is getting therapy trying to cope with her loss, there, she meets another woman named Judy, and they both become friends. They quickly grow this bond because both get therapy for their loss, and the friendship is built on mutual killings. The bond soon takes a lot of chaotic twists.
Jen was mourning the loss of her husband, who was killed in a hit-and-run case, and Judy was mourning her fiancé, who died of cardiac arrest. Then the mystery unravels, and we find that Judy is the hit-and-run driver. Jen finds herself in a dark place, whereas Judy maintains a positive attitude in the face of adversity. This distinction quickly leads to a strong bond between the two. Jen becomes increasingly deranged as she investigates her husband’s death and Judy’s secrets.
Dead To Me Cast
Christina Applegate plays the role of Jen Harding, the realtor who lost her husband in a hit-and-run case and tries to cope with it by going to therapy. Then we have Linda Cardellini playing the role of Judy Hale, a free-spirited woman in therapy mourning the loss of her fiancé. Her fiancé is Steve Wood, played by James Marsden.
