The story is about a poor female constable(Bhumika Pardesi), who is asked to work undercover to reveal the secrets of an underground drug lord.

She Season 1 Recap
Bhumika is the sole breadwinner for her family, who is finalizing her divorce with her alcohol-addict husband. She has to support her mother who is ill, and her sister who is in college. Bhumica is taught and trained by the Anti Narcotics division, after which, she works undercover as a prostitute in a bar and her mission is to confirm the identity of Sasya, a man with many identities, whose interest is frequently visiting prostitutes to satisfy his desires. He finds a fancy to Bhumika after she acts out a bit in front of him and is taken to somewhere secret.
Here’s where the Anti Narcotics unit loses contact with her, and she is left depending solely on herself. She still manages to get Sasya into custody, who is now interested in her even more, as she manages to distract him, which results in him getting into police custody. He agrees to cooperate with the investigation only if Bhumika is faced in front of him. Bhumika is somewhat aroused, and feels powerful after her encounter with Sasya. Sasya reveals their boss to be Nayak, the real power of the cartel and is secretive enough to never get caught till date. Like Sasya, Natak is also involved with prostitutes, so the Anti-narcotics decide to use Bhumika one more time, providing her with a new mission.

Season 2 of She is premiering on 17th June, 2022 with the same lead cast and probably new characters. The story for the second season is written by Bollywood director Imtiaz Ali and Divya Johri, and the directors Arit Ali and Avinash Das and will work together to direct this series once again. The story will pick up from where it left off in season 1. Bhumi is predicted to go on more undercover missions while dealing with her duties and desires, and getting to discover more about herself.
