High School was released on 14 October, and people loved the show for its authenticity and comedy. Created by Clea Duvell and Plan B Entertainment, High School followed the life of two sisters. High School Season 2 Story
High School followed the story of Tegan and Sara’s memoir, both of them are pop singers and identical twins. They wrote a memoir in 2019 about their high school experience as openly queer sisters. They both are famous singers, and the memoir showcased their journey of being gay teenagers and also the beginning of their musical journey. Just like in the book in the series, we saw the high school experience of these sisters.
There are high school fights, their first relationship all in the time of 1990s. Tegan and Sara are openly gay, and thus it also shows their experience at that time, the LGBTQ community at that was not really active and did not get much support. It is interesting to see both of the sisters’ experiences, they both are identical twins but we can see both of their experiences as individuals. Tegan and Sara both are talented artists, they have been nominated for a Grammy Award. Their memoir even got an Alex Award. As mentioned, any news about the second season is not out so it is hard to say what will be the story of High School season 2.
High School Season 2 Cast
High School season 1 had a really great and talented cast, creator Clea Duvell talked on The Late Late Show with James Corden about the casting of the show. She said that TikTok helped her in finding the stars. Clea said that Tegan was scrolling through TikTok and found out about the actors who played Tegan and Sara. Railey Gilliand and Seazynn Gilliand played the role of Tegan Quinn and Sara Quinn. Amanda Fix is in the role of Maya, Dom Bergeron has played the character of Will, C.J Vallroy in the character of Evan, and Cobie Smulders has played the character of Simone.
Kyle Bornheimer in the role of Patrick, Brianne Tiju as Ali, Nate Corddry in the role of David, Jesse Vandewel in the role of Kyle, and Austyn as Todd. Actors such as Olivia Rouyre, Esther McGregor, Megan Teering, and Autumn T Dang are in secondary roles. Any news about season 2 is not out, so we can’t say for sure anything about the cast, but if there will be a season 2 it will have the same cast with the addition and removal of old and new characters.
