All the speculation, all the conjectures roaming on the surface, hovering over the audiences, and clouding the minds of Randeep Hooda’s fans started straight away. CAT is a revenge drama crime thriller in which Randeep is playing an undercover spy. The series is directed and co-directed by Balwinder Singh Janjua, Rupinder Chahal, and Anutej Singh. This is Balwinder Singh Janjua’s second collaboration with Randeep Hooda after their project ‘Tera kya Hoga Lovely’. And the show is produced by Movie tunnel production in association with Jelly Bean Entertainment. During an interview, the screenwriter and director of CAT said that growing up he saw an extremely tempestuous era of the early 2000s, where drug trafficking is on the highest surge, creating something against this backdrop that has always been one of his top wishes.
