This movie has the perfect amount of comedy, drama, and proper plot twists. The movie generally received good reviews from critics and managed to get a mediocre score of 6.6 out of 10 on IMDb. The movie was released on September 16, 2022, and was instantly loved because of its story and cast. It was refreshing to see both Camilla Mendes and Maya Hawke in new roles and also their chemistry together is impeccable and immaculate. Do Revenge Part 2 Story
The story is written by the creator of Someone Great, which is another Netflix original movie and that too was loved by many people so it is obvious that people enjoyed this movie too. In part 1 we saw that Drea is a student of Rosehill Country Day High School in Miami, USA, and that school is one of the best private schools and is really expensive. She is a popular girl at the school but hides the fact that she is in the school because of a scholarship, she does not want people to know about her reality. She has a perfect life, she is well-known and liked by almost everyone, she has also worked with a high-end brand and everyone idolizes her. Drea has a boyfriend Max who is also popular and is loved by the girls of their school. Drea and Max share a beautiful relationship and everyone is jealous of them. But this perfect life of Drea comes to an end when her boyfriend Max reveals her intimate pictures to the whole school. The pictures were supposed to be like a gift for Max because he was going somewhere. When Drea gets to know about it she becomes upset and people start to treat her differently. She is furious at Max and her so-called friends.
Drea meets Eleanor when her car is suddenly not starting, they share the car and get to know each other. Eleanor is coming to Rosehill Country Day High school as an exchange student but she is nervous to be at the school because another girl Carissa ended up spreading a rumor about her when they were together at a summer camp. The rumor was that she is a lesbian and just like kids because of the rumor people would not come near her and laugh at her. Drea is also sad about the story and tells Eleanor about her rumor and they both realize that they need revenge. Drea can’t take revenge because her scholarship to an Ivy League University may get canceled if she would be in a trouble and she does not have enough time evidence against Max to prove that he leaked the video. So both Drea and Eleanor decide to take revenge on each other and make a proper plan. Drea will take revenge for Eleanor on Carrisa and Eleanor would take revenge for Drea on Max. A teen movie without a makeover scene is impossible, so here we get it, Drea decides to give Eleanor a makeover so that she can fit in at the school.

Here the plan starts, Drea tries to be close to Carrisa and starts to work with her and Eleanor tries to be close with Drea’s old friends. Eleanor is a player and her plan is working because Max and his friends take an interest in her and decide to invite her to a party. At the party, she realizes that Max is cheating on Tara who is his new girlfriend, and Drea gets access to Carrisa’s farm and finds a stash such as magic mushrooms and weed there. Eleanor and Drea decide to give everyone drugs at Senior Ring Ceremony and plan to steal Max’s phone to delete the video and collect evidence so that the school administration would do something and take an action. They find texts on Max’s phone that proves that Max was indeed cheating but Tara and Max show like they were in a polyamorous relationship and everyone starts to like them even more. Drea tips the headmaster about the weed and Carrisa gets expelled and is in a rehab center now, but Max is still intact, Drea is also sad because she lost the scholarship to an Ivy League University, plan Drea falls so she decides to make another plan to bring down Max and her old friends.
Meanwhile, Eleanor is fitting in at school and making new friends, and also starting a new relationship with Gabbi who is Max’s sister but Drea is not happy with all that and decides to crash Eleanor’s birthday party. Their plan was about to fall off but did not end up because at the last moment Eleanor saves it, they both were fighting and Gabbi overhead them talking and decides to break up with Eleanor. She and Drea part ways and furious Drea decides to take revenge on Eleanor and goes to meet Carrisa at the rehab center. This is where the twists come in when Drea and Carrisa meet they talk about a lot of things, and also about Eleanor. Drea gets to know that she was the one who had spread the rumor about her and not Carrisa, she totally forgot that they were together at the summer camp. It was revealed that Eleanor knew all about it all along and took revenge on Drea. They end up in a fight but help each other in expelling Max for his wrongdoings and become good friends. Part 1 of Do Revenge was interesting and exciting, it was complete so there is nothing left to conclude in the second part, it means if there will be a second part it will follow a new story all along.

Do Revenge has a great cast and all the people are talented. Camilla Mendes and Maya Hawke took the lead with their respective roles Drea and Eleanor. Austin Abrams is in the role of Max, Alisha Boe as Tara, Ava Capri in the role of Carrisa, Talia Ryder has played the role of Gabbi, Sarah Michelle Gellar in the character of Headmaster and many more talented actors and characters were a part of Do Revenge part 1. In season 2, it will either be a fully new cast or another shenanigan with Eleanor and Drea in a college setting sounds like a great idea.
