The Good Detective follows an interesting and engaging story with great scenes. Two detectives who like and tend to do their work differently come together on a case. Kang Do-chang is a level-headed person, he has been working as a detective for around 18 years. In his teachings, he learned that using personal experiences and old cases is the best way to solve a case. He uses his reasoning skills and scientific research, due to his abilities he works in Violent Crimes Division 2 as a senior detective. Oh Ji-hyuk is an elite person, he has an experience of over 9 years of.
He also suffers from mental health conditions such as Insomnia, he also has a lot of past trauma. Unlike Kang Do-chang who uses Psychology as the main source of solving crimes, he likes to talk to people over and over again to understand the crime. These two opposite people come together, by fate and try to help each other. The story is really interesting as there are people who are trying to cover up the crimes and Kang Do-chang and Oh Ji-hyuk are trying to find the truth. In season 2 TJ Group is mentioned and also a serial killer case where the women get murdered in the same pattern.
