Kengan Omega Summary

Gladiators areas have existed in each and every form they can all over Japan since the Edo era country. In these areas, rich people and property owners, and shopkeepers hire gladiators to battle without armor combat where the winner gets everything, called Kengan matches. Yamashita Kazuo, a typical Japanese salaryman working for Nogi Group, observes a brawl between two unidentified combatants in an alley. Due to his victory over the Nogi Group’s previous fighter in the street battle, Tokita “Ashura” Ohma, one of the fighters, is sought out by Nogi Hideki, the CEO of the Nogi Group. Ohma, who enters these arenas simply to destroy his opponents, is managed by Kazuo. His amazing ability to destroy his adversaries attracts the interest of powerful businessmen, which results in Hideki inviting him to participate in the Kengan Annihilation Tournament. The top CEOs in Japan participate in this competition, and the victor is awarded the chairmanship of the Kengan Association, which carries a great deal of authority and status. Ohma is put to the test as the competition progresses as he battles his mysterious past coming back to haunt him and Kazuo strives to control him and determine the real reason he was invited to the competition.

Kengan Omega Main Hero

A young guy named Narushima Koga, also known as The Fist Eye (Kengan), joins the underground fighting scene and the Kengan competitions to improve his fighting skills. He has a past relationship with Tokita Ohma.

After the Kengan Association VS Purgatory Tournament two years prior, Koga had formally joined the Kengan battles as a combatant. He also entered Purgatory’s ring as the first ever active Kengan bout combatant.

Kengan Omega Hero Personality

Koga is a brazen, slightly conceited young man with a strong desire for dominating violence; as a result, he suffers from an underlying inferiority issue as a result of his humiliating loss to Tokita Ohma three years ago. Koga has a short fuse and easily loses control when his buttons are pressed. Despite this, he has a surprising amount of diligence and is able to be courteous when desired. He works hard to avoid having any debts to anyone. For better or worse, he behaves like a backwoods miscreant, showing blatant hatred against people he views as his enemies while being compassionate with close friends.  Following his encounter with Yamashita Kazuo and the others, his attitude is gradually shifting.

He has developed a more relaxed, mellowed-out disposition since the Kengan Association vs. Purgatory Tournament ended, which was evident in both his social life and his matches. The most noteworthy is his now-friendly relationship with Ohma, who gives him tips on how to get stronger during their fighting.
