Created by Holden Miller and Daniel C. Connolly, Night Sky is an American science fiction drama television series under the direction of Campanella and Juan José. With Sunshine Park Productions, Mosaic, Amazon Videos, and Legendary Television, the plot of the series revolve around a married couple who finds a chamber in the backyard that leads to a barren desert with so many mysteries.

Season 1 got released on May 20, 2022, with a total of 8 episodes. With a rating of 76% on Rotten Tomatoes, the series got favourable reviews. The audience very much likes season 1 of the series in all its aspects be it the visuals, graphics, action, or fantasy.

Night Sky Season 2 Story
The plot of the series starts with the passionate love story of Franklin and Irene York. Irene is suffering from never ending anxiety which harming her health. Franklin is a carpenter and tries his best to keep his wife happy. There is located a tunnel in the backyard of their house that leads to an observation room on another planet which is visited many times by the couple but never dared to go outside the door.
When Irene opens up the door she has encountered a young stranger, Jude who was badly covered in blood and she took care of him until he comes to his consciousness. The viewers also saw Stella who is very strict with her daughter, Toni. Jude claims that he is lost and asks Irene to help him in finding his father. The series depicts their adventures journey to the new planet and their struggles in surviving there. The audience has to wait for some time for an official plot of season 2.
Night Sky Season 2 Cast
Season 1 of the series includes Sissy Spacek as Irene York and J. K Simmons as Franklin York, the married couple with over 50 years and Denise’s grandparents. The viewers also saw other casts including Chai Hansen as Jude, the caretaker of the couple, Adam Bartley as Byron, a neighbour of the couple, Cass Buggé as Jeanine, and Sonya Walger as Hannah.
Other casts include Stephen Louis Grush as Nick, the supporter of Stella, Angus O’Brian as Michael, Denise’s deceased father Kiah McKirnan as Denise, and many others. The audience is hoping to see the same cast again in the next installment of the series. But as there is no confirmation about season 2, the cast also remains a mystery. The audience has to wait for some time to know who the confirmed cast will be there.
