The series premiered on 30th August 2019. Mythical creatures leave their homes and travel to the city to avoid war and the problems that follow along with it. Due to this the immigrant population in the city increased. There is a lot of tension between the citizens as murders and other crimes take place.

Four more shots is an Indian television series created by Rangita Pritish Nandy. Anu Menon directed the first season, Nupur Asthana directed the second and Joyeeta directed the third. The series has 2 seasons(the third one on works), and 20 episodes of approximately 28-35 minutes each. The series was released on 25th January 2019. The series follows an all-women protagonist, where 4 strong and independent women live their lives facing daily problems and challenges. They get together every couple of days in their favourite bar, to get drunk, rant about their life and problems, and find joy in each other’s company. The series also talks about their family, work, relationship pressure and a lot of other pressures and how our protagonists deal with them being a part of modern society.

UnReal

UnReal is a drama television series created by Marti Noxon and Sarah Gertrude Shapiro. The series is based on Sarah Gertrude Shapiro’s short film Sequin Raze. The series has a total of 4 seasons and 38 episodes with an approximate runtime of 48 minutes, per episode. The series made its release in June 2015. The series focuses on Producer Rachel Goldberg who is a part of a popular dating show. After a break, she returns to her original job She manipulates and scripts the show and contestants’ decisions to bring out entertaining content from them and increase her show ratings. Homecoming

The series has 2 seasons and 17 episodes, of runtime 24-37 minutes each episode. The series was released in November 2018. The first season is based on the Gimlet Media podcast, Homecoming. The second season starts with a new story and characters. Heidi Bergman was a social worker at a facility which helps soldiers to live civilian lives. Four years later in the present, she is a waitress and has trouble remembering her time at the facility A US Department of Defence auditor leaves her confused and she realises her work at the faculty wasn’t what it looked like.

Made In Heaven

Made in heaven is a web series of Indian origin, created by Zoya Akhtar and Reema Lagti and directed by Nitya Mehra, Zoya Akhtar, Prashant Nair and Alankrita Shrivastava. The making of the second season was postponed due to the pandemic, but it wrapped its filming in April 2022 and we’ll be having a second season soon. The Expanse

The Expanse is a science fiction drama television series, developed by Mark Fergus and Hawk Ostby. The series has 6 seasons and 62 episodes each with an approximate runtime of 42- 63 minutes. The series was released in December 2015 and is based on the novel Expanse, by James S. A. Corey. The series takes place in an imaginative future, where the solar system is divided into three powers who colonise it. Two of them are Earth and Mars which are about to start a war. Chrisjen Avasarala wants to stop the war. 

Red Oaks

Red Oaks is a comedy-drama television series created by Gregory Jacobs and Joe Gangemi. The series has 3 seasons and 26 episodes, with approximate episode runtime being 30 minutes. The series was released on 28th August 2014 and has received mostly positive reviews. Red Oaks was a country club in New Jersey in 1985. A college student named David starts working in the club and we get to see his life in the club, family, adolescence and his relationships throughout the series. 

Danger And Eggs 

Danger and eggs is an American animated series created by Mike Owens and Shadi Petosky and the main voices of Aidy Bryant. The series has 13 episodes and was released on 30th June 2017. Most of the show is voiced by LGBT staff. The series also talks about trans youth, gay dads and lesbians. The series has gained good reviews and recognition for its story approach and is a good family series. D. D. Danger is a daredevil who goes on various dangerous adventures with his careful and not-so-brave best friend Phillip. The chaotic duo never fail to surprise viewers with their crazy life.

The Good Wife 

The Good Wife is a law and political drama television series created by Robert King and Michelle King. The series has 7 seasons and a total of 156 episodes. Each episode is of approximately 40 to 46 minutes. The series was released in September 2009 and has South Korean and Japanese adaptations. Alicia Florrick is the wife of a State attorney and a former lawyer. She finds herself in a fix after his husband is arrested for a corruption scandal and a sex scandal. She decides to return to her former job after a 13 years gap, to provide for her children. 

I Love Dick

I love dick is an American television series created by Sarah Gubbins and Joey Soloway. The series has 1 season and 8 episodes of approximately 32 running times each. The series is based on the novel, I Love Dick by Chris Kraus. The series pilot premiered in August 2016 and the first season was released in May 2017. The series received a great response from the critics, but unfortunately got cancelled in January 2018, after its first season. The story is about a couple, Chris, an artist and filmmaker and her husband, Sylverère. They travel to Marfa, Texas for some of Sylverè’s work. Chris gets attracted to Sylverè’s boss, Dick. She writes letters expressing her sexual desires. She gets affected by her infatuation and finds it hard to focus and have confidence. 

One Mississippi

One Mississippi is a semi-autobiographical comedy series created by Tig Notaro and Diablo Cody. The series has 2 seasons and 12 episodes of approx 25 minutes episode runtime. The series was released in November 2015 and received good reviews from the critics for its drama, comedic elements and good acting by the main cast. The series was cancelled in January 2018, after two successful seasons. Tig Bavaro is a radio host. She receives news from the hospital that her mother, Caroline, would be removed from life support. She returns to Bay St. Louis, Mississippi to visit her mom. She has an accident and receives a double mastectomy and a C. difficile infection. She moves in with her brother and stepdad and takes care of the family. She comes to know of her mother’s past and lives her life in Bay St. Louis. 

Claws

Claws is a comedy-drama series created by Eliot Lawrence. The series has 4 seasons and 40 episodes. The series was released in June 2017 and released its 4th and final season in December 2021. The dark comedy and drama attracted a lot of good responses from critics and viewers, which made this series popular. The story follows the life of four manicurists who launder money for the Dixie Mafia. They decide to wrap up with crime and move to Sarasota. The series talks about their internal conflicts, past, relationship issues and their dream of becoming clean of the male-managed crime. They start their adventure to cut themselves off from them and start their own business by themselves

Modern love is a romantic-comedy anthology series developed by John Carney. The series has 2 seasons and 16 episodes of approximate running time, 29- 35 minutes. The series is based on a weekly column, Modern Love, published by The New York Times. Conversations with friends is an Irish series based on a 2017 novel, Conversations With Friends, by Sally Rooney. The series has 1 season and 12 episodes of 25 – 31 approximate runtime. The series was released in May 2022. The plot talks about a young college student, Oliver, who studies at Trinity College, Dubin. She reads poems with her best friend and ex-girlfriend Bobbi. Killing Eve

Killing Eve is a Thriller, drama, and black comedy series. The series is based on a thriller novel, Codename Villanelle by Luke Jennings. The series has 4 seasons and 32 episodes of approx 40- 43 minutes runtime. The series was released in April 2018, and gained a good response from viewers and critics, breaking records. The third and fourth seasons received mixed reactions and backlash but it didn’t affect their popularity. Eve is a British intelligence investigator who joins a task force after suggesting a theory, in hopes to catch an assassin, who kills important people without reason and leaves no connection between the murders, leaving the intelligence community with the bare minimum of information. 

Queen Sugar

Queen Sugar is a drama series created by Ava DuVernay. The series is based on a 2014 novel, Queen Sugar, by Natalie Baszile. The series has 6 seasons and 76 episodes with an approximate runtime of 35-37 minutes. The series was released in September 2016 and has won 2 NAACP Image Awards. The series has gained a lot of attention for talking about issues faced by African-American society and gender issues. The story talks about three siblings living in rural Louisiana. After the sudden death of their father,  they are left to deal with an 800-acre sugarcane farm. Charlie, one of the three siblings, and her daughter Micah travel from Los Angeles to Louisiana to take care of the farm. She reunites with her siblings and learns a shocking truth about her husband.

The Man In The High Castle

The man in the high castle is a dystopian-alternate history series created by Frank Spotnitz. The seroes is based on a 1962 novel, The Man In the High Castle by Philip K. Dick. The series has 4 seasons and 40 episodes with an approximate runtime of 45-70 minutes. The average review of the 4 seasons was positive and almost all of them complimented the well-formed characters, story and plot twists. Japan and Germany divide the United States into two halves. A group called The Boys, want to bring down Vought and their corrupt superheroes, bring their evil deeds to light and bring justice to the citizens who have faith in them. 

Vida

Vida is a drama television series created by Tanya Saracho and inspired by a short story, Pour Vida, by Richard Villegas Jr. The series has 3 seasons and 22 episodes, with approx 31 to 42 runtime for each episode. The series was released in May 2018 and received a GLAAD Media Award for Outstanding Comedy Series. The series received good reviews for the actors’ fresh perspectives and quality acting. The series focuses on two Mexican-American sisters, who are opposites of each other. They leave their different lives and move in together in their hometown, after their mother, Vildalia’s death. They become landlords overnight and learn about their mother’s shocking past which they knew nothing about. They deal with their work and relationship issues and have trouble and fights while staying together.
