Spy x Family is an ongoing television series in Japan. Directed and written by Kazuhiro Furuhashi, the anime is an action, spy, and comedy TV series. In the Spy x Family, a Westalis agent Twilight is sent to spy on the leader of the National Unity Party Damian Desmond. This espionage is necessary for the peace between Westalis and Ostania. However, spying is not that easy. To get close to Donovan Desmond, Twilight has to make a whole setup.
Twilight makes a fake profile of himself as Loid Forger. He adopts an orphan girl who has the power to read the mind and married another girl who is a professional assassin. However, none of them knew about each other real names and professions. He admits the adopted daughter to the same school where Damian Desmond’s son studies. His motive was to get closer to Damian Desmond through this. In the series, you will find the three family members spying on each other and their target. However, they are not real family. Loid Forger aka Twilight
Twilight is the best spy agent of Westalis. He is sent to spy on Ostania’s leader of the National Unity Party. He is a loyal, smart, intelligent, and calculative spy to whom the responsibility of a big mission is given. He takes every action after proper calculation and foresight. His spying abilities are undoubted. For the sake of this mission, he adopts a new personality. He lives in Ostania as Loid Forger, a psychiatrist. For his mission only, he adopts Anya and marries Yor. The name of Loid’s mission is operation Strix.
Twilight aka Loid is also a very good human being. He marries Yor and adopted Anya for the mission, but he took complete care of both. He looks after them like a real family. He started loving Anya like a daughter. He also respects Yor and is very thankful to her. Now, apart from the mission his new family also became his priority. He wants to protect them also amid his mission.

Yor Forger aka Thorn Princess
Yor Forger is the girl whom Loid aka Twilight married for his mission. She works in City Hall. Yor also has a brother whom she loves a lot. She is shown very concernedly and caring towards her brother. Loid married her to complete his family so that no one doubts him as a spy. However, he does not know that like him Yor is also working for the peace of the nation.
Yor is a professional assassin of The Garden. The motive of this organization is to kill everyone who is dangerous to the nation’s peace, security, and law & order. She is given a target by her organization for killing. They normally target high-rated criminals and corrupt politicians, officers, and businessmen. As Yor is an assassin, she has combat abilities. She is well trained to fight. When she marries Loid and meets Anya, she develops a feeling of belongingness toward the young girl.
Anya Forger
Anya is a five-year-old adopted daughter of Loid. She is the youngest in the family but the best and true spy because of her mind-reading abilities. Yor and Loid are unaware of Anya’s superpower of reading minds. But she knows the truth about both of them. She knows the true and false personalities of her parents and their respective mission. She is the queen of the family. Her sweetness made Yor and Loid fall for her. She started getting true parental love from them. She also loves her parents a lot.
Talking about the past of Anya, the little girl was a part of the experiment of a secret agent for her mind-reading abilities. However, she is not allowed to tell anyone about her powers. Hence, Yor and Loid also don’t know Anya’s secret. It has to be seen whether Loid and York find out Anya’s secret. And what happens if they find the truth? He like Anya and adored her family. He believes there is immense love and unity in the Forger family. He is also a very kind and helpful guy. But he never compromises with discipline and rules. He is generally liked by people in Eden Academy. Henry’s character is very important for the flow of the Spy x Family anime series.

Franky Franklin
Franky Franklin is a good friend and colleague of Twilight. He is based in Ostania for a long time. For the Westalis’ intelligence agency, Franky Franklin is a deep asset. In Westalis, Franky was a helper to Twilight. His main role is espionage and passing information. However, you will also find in accompanying Twilight in his missions and combats. He is a trained spy, who is very efficient in his work. He is also trained for combat and warfare in emergency situations.

Damian Desmond
Damian Desmond is the character behind whom Loid adopted a girl and brought a wife. He admitted Anya to Eden Academy because Donovan Desmond’s younger brother Damian studies in this school. However, being in the same school, Anya and Damian don’t share a good bond with each other. They are like each other’s enemies. Anya doesn’t like him because of his arrogant behaviour. On the other hand, Damian is a very ignorant boy in the family. He is growing up under constant pressure from his father who is a politician. The reason is his brother Donovan Desmond. Yuri Briar
Yuri Briar is Yori Forger’s 20-year-old younger brother whom she loves a lot. His appearance in Spy x Family is only on phone calls till now. He is also an intelligence officer like Loid. The young Yuri works for Ostania’s State Security Services. However, Yuri is unaware of her brother’s profession. Yuri is not very happy with her sister marrying Loid. But he is shown lovable toward Anya.
Talking about Yuri’s professional skills, he is an efficient spying asset who loves his country. He and his organization are chasing the spying agent Twilight from Westalis. They find him dangerous for their country. But, Yuri is unaware that his own brother-in-law is the agent Yuri whom they are finding.

Sylvia Sherwood is the head of Twilight’s intelligence agency. She is an experienced spy who constantly guides Twilight and other spies. She is shown understanding, smart, and intelligent. Her experience is far more than Twilight which makes her superior to twilight. Her foresight is better than that of her other spies. She is introduced later in Spy x Family.
Becky Blackbell
Becky Blackbell is a student of Eden Academy and Anya Forger’s classmate. She is shown as a wise girl. Her father is a military manufacturer. He is also in eyes of Twilight as a part of his mission. Hence, he finds Anya and Becky’s friendship fruitful for his mission. Becky became a good friend of Anya and they both dislike Damian. She is also introduced late in the Spy x Family.
