You are my spring is a suspense thriller series. The series revolves around three characters with a troubled past resulting in their respective traumas. Kang Da Jeong is a hotel manager with a traumatic past. Her dad was abusive and an alcoholic. Her mom who is the victim of his cruelty runs away with her kids Da Jeong and son Tae Jeong. Da Jeong shifts to her new house but is shocked when she sees the police and patrol cars in her building. Turns out, that a murder takes place in her building prior to her arrival. Joo young a psychiatrist claims the murderer to be a psycho and shares his analysis and predicts that he will be back.
He also helps the police as their consultant. Joo Young lives below Da Jeong in the same building and when they meet each other, accurately analyses her personality, trauma and past relationship experiences with drunkard men. Here, Tae Joon, the head of an investment company makes an appearance as a man interested in Da Jeong, he met her in the hotel and since then has been pursuing her. After some consideration, Da Young agrees to go on a date with him. But Tae Joon doesn’t seem so simple, he finds Joo Young jealous, and warns him to keep away from Da Young. Joo Young analyses him and comes to the conclusion that he’s a sociopath.
You Are My Spring Season 2 Release Date
TVN and Netflix have not renewed their contracts for ‘You are my spring’ for season 2. So we are most likely not getting a sequel to the series anytime soon. In terms of popularity and public interest, the series has it all so there might be slight chances that Netflix decides to take on the project in the future and Voila! We can have a new season but for now, it’s still speculation.

You Are My Spring Review
The series skips through a lot of genres. It starts off with a suspense thriller and ends up being a romantic, healing series. The characters are well made and have good and relatable backstories. A lot of them! The chemistry of Da Jeong is good with both the male leads. The story includes a lot of fun and sweet elements, some even cheesy but it differs from person to person. Although all of these points are considered to be a plus, this series might not be for frequent drama viewers who have been through better versions of romance. This series in particular has a lot of wow elements but is overshadowed by excessive backstories which might make one lose interest. The mystery part of the series is good but there is scope for improvement, especially with better use of resources. This series could have been close to a masterpiece like ‘it’s okay to not be okay but is unique in its own way. This series was meant to be loved and is loved by many but it would’ve been better if they could reduce the story’s pace a bit. Rest, the interaction with the side characters is really good and is relatable and smooth. The comedic elements are well acted and kind of bring up the show’s quality. In short, the series is really good if you want to watch it slowly, taking your own sweet time rather than binge watching it.
