Released under the production of Pritish Nandy Communications (PNC), Modern Love Mumbai is a Hindi language web series that presents six different stories to the audience. The series is written by different writers like Nupur Pai, Devika Bhagat, Bhardwaj, Jyotsna Hariharan, and Ankur Pathak, plus, it is directed by talented directors, Shonali Bose, Vishal Bhardwaj, and Nupur Ashthana. Alankrita Srivastava, Dhruv Sehgal, and Hansal Mehta have done the duo work. The series is adapted from the American series Modern Love that got released in the column of New York Times under the same name.

Season 1 of the series has recently got released on May 13, 2022. After the release of the series, it gained impressive ratings and reviews. The audience liked the series because it presents different angles of love and, how someone can achieve that. Well, there are not typical love stories in the series but, they have a mixture of different emotions; anger, lust, jealousy, contentment, and many more.

Modern Love Mumbai Season 2 Story
Love has no boundaries, age gap, religion, and gender too. It can happen anywhere to anybody. As Bollywood is known for the best love stories for a very long time, the OTT platform has also garnered the audience with the taste of love. Every episode of the series comes up with a different storyline, each with a different title too. The first story, Raat Rani, presents the love story between Lali and Lutfi, the Kashmiri ones, where Lutfi is a watchman in a posh society. But one day, he just leaves his wife without a word, leaving her distraught and depressed. The story covers how she manages to overcome that sadness and opens a tea stall at night.
Baai presents the love story between a man and a straight. Manju is a gay man and the grandchild of an overproductive lady, Baai. When his family got to know about his true identity, they were treating him like he was going through a disease but, her sister Rihanna was with him. The plot of the story takes a turn when Manju got into a relationship with Rajveer, the lover of her sister. In Mumbai Dragon, the story presents how a bond gets stronger with the help of the Hindi language and the food. There goes a rivalry between Sui and Megha, as the former has taken the pledge of not speaking the Hindi language plus, she thinks that Megha has come between her and her son, Ming.
My Beautiful Wrinkles shows the love angle between a young man, Kunal, and a lady, Dilbar Sodhi, 30 years older than him. Her granddaughter, Siya Is having a relationship with Aman, who ditched her later. The main theme of the story is how Dilbar grows up in her relationship with Kunal. I Love Thane is a story between a 30-year-old Saiba and Parth. Saiba is looking for a perfect guy and, after dating many, she is tops for Parth. Cutting Chai, the last story tells about the distraught and messed up life of Latika. She thinks that her writing career gets a halt due to her husband, Daniel, and all the household work she does. Their relationship is also messed up in that they don’t know the little things about each other. Well, the communication is great which happens in the last of the story too.

The series follows Ranveer Brar, Fatima Sana Shaikh as Lalzari, Pratik Gandhi as Manju, Chitrangda Singh as Latika, Tanuja as Baai, Naseeruddin Shah as Pappi Singh, Wamiqa Gabbi as Megha and Arshad Warsi as Daniel. The series also stars Masaba Gupta, Ahsaas Channa, Sarika, Tanvi Azmi, and Aadar Malik as Suhas with so many other casts like Meiyang Chang and Yeo Yann Yann.
Every character has played their roles authentically so that, it attracts an audience of every level.
