The series stars a vast excellent cast as victims of a zombie apocalypse attempting to stay alive in the face of near-constant assaults from zombies classified as “walkers”. With the fall of modern civilization, these survivors are forced to encounter other human survivors who have established organizations and tribes with their own systems of law and morality, sometimes resulting to open, aggressive war.

The Walking Dead Season 10 Recap

When Rick Grimes, a sheriff’s deputy in King County, Georgia, awakens from a coma, he learns the world has been overtaken by zombies. Rick goes alone to Atlanta after befriending Morgan Jones before meeting his wife Lori, son Carl, and his police officer and best friend Shane Walsh in the woods with other survivors. After being assaulted by walkers at night, the entire gang returns to Atlanta to the Centers for Disease Control facility, only to learn from the lone surviving scientist that no treatment for the pandemic exists.

18 months after Negan’s defeat, Rick suggests constructing a bridge to facilitate trade, but this just adds to the animosity. Rick appears to be dead when he smashes the bridge to avoid a walker invasion. Six years later, his disappearance sparks a debate within the villages, and the Whisperers, a new walker-controlling menace, demand that the survivors not infringe on their area. Alpha, their commander, has amassed a vast horde of walkers, which she will discharge if they do so. Alpha renounces Lydia after she abandons her mother’s organization for the Kingdom, and butchers many inhabitants during a fair.
