Fashion designer Tan France and Alexa Chung, who has worked in every corner of the fashion industry, welcomes the 18 best and brightest designers from all around the world, the designers go through various challenges to prove their worth as the future of fashion. The show begins by introducing the contestants, the contestants are then paired up in a group of two for the first challenge of the show. Tan and Alexa announce that the winner will not only get $250,000 to invest in their business but also Net a porter, the world’s premier online luxury fashion destination will award the winning designer $250,000 to fund their collection along with the opportunity to retail their design on the net a porter site.
