The series is based on the real-life story of two Hollywood actors who had a real-life rivalry. The story revolves around two women Bette and Joan, who struggles in their career due to ageism and agony. Still, they hold on to their success and fame not willing to sacrifice their years of hard work. It also throws light on the history of the Hollywood industry.

It continues till the end, the Resurrection of Jesus. They also show the events from The Last Supper to the Crucifixion of Jesus.

The case gets more interesting when they know that she was disappeared from the British suburb, abanding two children far away from home.

The story shows the feelings and emotions of a mother who does everything to get love from her daughter. Mildred Pierce is an overprotecting and self-sacrificing mother who gets separated from her husband during the Great Depression. In order to hold herself together, she starts a new restaurant and unintentionally falls in love with a man. She does all this drama in order to earn love and respect from her spoiled, and narcissistic elder daughter.

It sets in the 1990s at Three Rivers The story revolves around the twin brothers Dominick and Thomas. Thomas suffers from paranoid schizophrenia, a disease where most of the time he hallucinates things. Domnick always makes sure to take care of and protect his brother Thomas. But things change when Dominick gets to know his family secret one by one.

After getting released from the hospital, she returns to Windgap, her hometown. She goes there to investigate the murder case of two young girls. The returning back to her home reminds her about the trauma she has faced and she again should deal with the demons inside her.
