NCIS is a police procedural television show of America, which revolves around a fictional team of special agents and they are from Naval Criminal Investigative Services which is a combined element of the military drama shows and police procedural dramas genres. CBS premiered the spin-off from JAG, on September 23, 2003. The concept and character were introduced in two episodes of JAG. Donald P. Bellisario and Don McGill who are the co-creators of this series also served as executive producers. It is the nineteenth season of NCIS and is broadcast in syndication by the USA Network.
By the end of 2021, it will be the second-longest-running scripted, non-animated primetime TV series in the United States, only behind Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, and it’s also the seventh longest-running scripted primetime series in the United State.
As a spinoff series, in season six a two parted episode led to NCIS: Los Angeles; in season eleven a two-part episode led to NCIS: New Orleans. The series originally aired under the partly redundant title Navy NCIS: Naval Criminal Investigative Service. NCIS had initially fallen short of the top 30 list in the first two seasons but steadily moved up the list in its third season.
By the show’s sixth season, it became a top 5 show and has remained there ever since. In 2011, NCIS became America’s favorite show in an online Harris Poll. During the 2012-2013 network television season, NCIS was the most-watched series in the United States. The series was renewed on May 3, 2020, with the 18th season premiering on November 17th, 2020. A new episode of NCIS: Hawai’i premiered September 20, 2021, following the renewal of NCIS for a 19th season on April 15, 2021.

NCIS Season 19 Story
For Gibbs’ protection, Vance gives a press conference implying that Gibbs died in the boat explosion so as to protect Paul LeMere (Jason Wiles), the serial killer. McGee, Torres, and Knight arrest a man believed to be linked to LeMere’s murder, but soon discover that he is undercover FBI agent Alden Parker (Gray Cole), who is also investigating LeMere.
When The team locates LeMere, and after preventing shooting him by Gibbs, they learn he is not exactly the serial killer they wanted he is just a contract killer. Meanwhile, Torres refuses to give Bishop’s desk to the knight, leading to an argument over personal space and Torres’ grieving over Bishop’s departure. LeMere’s location is discovered, and after stopping Gibbs from shooting him, he tells them he is a contract killer, not a serial killer. When the knight asks him who the account pays him, LeMere shoves the desk in her face
LeMere breaks the glass of the desk when Knight mentions the name of the account that pays him in interrogation, allowing him to escape and hold Kasie hostage in the squad room. Gibbs shot LeMere from the elevator in the end, leaving the episode on a cliffhanger.
