Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle (2018)
Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle is an American adventure drama film which was directed by Andy Serkis and is based on the all-Mowgli stories which were written by Rudyard Kipling and adapted to screenplay by Callie Kloves. Through Serkis takes a unique approach to the concept and has a great voice cast, including Christian Bale as Bagheera, Cara Blanchett as Kaa, Benedict Cumberbatch as Shere Khan, and Serkis himself as Baloo. The Movie Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle is uneven and misplaces its focus at times due to the overcomplexity in the plot.
While the film suffers from the negative comparison with Disney’s 2016 version of ‘The Jungle Book’, its crisp animation and superb performances make it a worthwhile watch.
