The gilded age series is very much suggestive of the story it holds from the name of the series. It is a historical fictionalized drama series that was created for the HBO channel. The show with only a few episodes in hand has received a great response from the fans and has already received a great 8.1 IMDb rating which is remarkable in the aspect of the number of episodes we have received, the critics have also given great reviews about the show and thus it motivates us more to give the series a try.
The story is about the great gilded age and our protagonist Marian brook who has come to New York City and is slowly getting into the high society culture which is corrupted evil and marked with greed till its deep roots. The date of all the premiering episodes has more or less been announced by the makers and with such a huge response from the fans, we are surely looking for another season for the show. Till then we just sit tight and go on a journey into the gilded age of the 1870s with Marian and her family.
The Gilded Age Episode 4 Release Date
The first season of the show is already out and has announced that it will have a total of 9 episodes. The first episode was released on the 24th of January,2022 and the following episodes are having a more or less weekly release schedule on the HBO channel. The third episode will be out by the 7th of February and the fourth episode will be out by the 14th of February. The entire show will conclude by the 21st of march and with each episode having a runtime of nearly 45 – 50 minutes which is quite enough for the audience for sure. The fourth episode of the show is titled “a long ladder” which is quite unique and intriguing for the audience, as it doesn’t give us many hints about the story we are going to get in the episode.

The Gilded Age Episode 3 Recap
The first episode of the show marks the introduction to the protagonist of the show Marian who goes back to New York to live with her wealthy aunt after her father passes away, on the way she gets to meet another important character of the show, Peggy who ends up staying in Mariam’s new home and becomes hired as a secretary for the woman of the house, Agnes. The story continues like this while we get an introduction to the other characters and the high elite society that is depicted in the neighborhood the story is set in. the family has also has got some problems with the Russell’s and we will soon find out more about them in the upcoming episodes.
The second episode of the show is full of twists and turns where we see Marian and Peggy saving the household cooks job and also from the debt she has, but at the cost of arranging a dinner with Gladys Russell, soon aunt Ada and Gladys find out everything and take care of it themselves, we also see organizing of a charity by Mrs. Morris where she doesn’t invite bertha, soon john asks bertha to invite Mrs. Morris and her husband which Mr. Morris surely doesn’t want to miss considering the position that Mr. Russell has now.
The Gilded Age Episode 4 Story
As we have already heard from the title of the episode, a long ladder may be suggestive of the long way our two protagonists have to go to adjust to this society and make themselves suited to it. The episode is dropping on Valentine’s Day and thus we can also expect the makers to have something special for us, maybe Mariam’s lawyer comes to visit him or some new turn of events. The new few episodes will be full of dramatic turns and will be worth a watch for all surely.
