Rosario Vampire is a Japanese series written by Hiroshi Yamaguchi and directed by Takayuki Inagaki. The manga series of the same was written and illustrated by Akihisa Ikeda. The manga series has a total of 10 Volumes and the anime television series has 13 episodes in total. The male protagonist of the play is Tsukune Aono, an average teenager who fails to secure good scores to get into any high school. The story revolves around him. Youkai Academy is a strange high school, where the students are monsters who try to live with humans. They appear in human form but behind their mask, they are bloodsucking vampires. But when we look from the outside it is a reputed school with friendly students. Since our protagonist was unable to secure good scores, his parents enrolled him in Youkai Academy boarding school. They were ignorant about the strangeness of the school. The series shows his life after he enters the school. Rosario Vampire is a supernatural romantic series that shows Tsukune’s life and his experiences after he joins the school.
Rosario Vampire Season 3 Release Date
The anime series Rosario Vampire season 1 was released on January 3, 2008, and season 2 was released on October 2, 2008. After watching seasons 1 and 2, the anime lovers are patiently waiting for the announcement of season 3. Usually, anime television series will be renewed within a period of five years, if it takes more than that time, then it’s probably a no to season 3. The manga series of Rosario Vampire was completed on April 19, 2014. The dubbed version is available on Funimation, Crunchyroll, and Amazon Prime Video. It’s been more than five years and we haven’t heard anything about it. Considering these facts we can say that there is only a little chance for Rosaro Vampire season 3. But we can’t jump to conclusions. We can hope for the best and keep our ears open for any official announcements. Rosario Vampire Season 1 Recap
Tsukune Aono is an average teenager who gets enrolled into Youkai Academy boarding school. He fails to get good scores to get into reputed high schools, and this school was his parents’ last resort to secure his education. Unaware of the things in Youkai Academy, he joins the school. Youkai Academy is a private school that teaches monsters to coexist with humans. The only rule in that school is that the monsters are allowed to kill if humans are found on the campus. Within a few days of joining the school, he uncovers the fact that he is living with monsters, the bloodsucking vampires. Although he is scared of living there, he decides to stay there for Moka Akashiya(female protagonist). Moka Akashiya is a beautiful vampire, who becomes his best friend. She enjoys his company and gets fond of the taste of his blood.
The way he discovers Moka’s real identity was quite unexpected. Moka has a Rosario around her neck, the moment it’s removed the outer Moka disappears and the inner Moka awakens. The Rosario was given to her mother when she was a child. During a fight with a school bully, Tsukune accidentally removes the Rosario around Moka’s neck which transforms her into a vampire. He befriends many students from the school and soon he joins the newspaper club. After joining they fight many students and teachers who bully students for their selfish purposes. In the process, they fight to meet an evil group named ‘Anti-schoolers’ who threatens to break the wall between the human and monster world. Their fight leads to the temporary closing of the school due to damages. Tsukune returns to his home with a heavy heart and to his surprise, he finds Moka, Kurumu, Yukari, and Mizore hiding in his room. This brings an end to season 1.
Rosario Vampire Season 2 Recap
In season 2, Moka’s half-sister Koko Shuzen enrolls in Youkai Academy. Soon Koko, Ruby, and Mizore join the newspaper club. On the excursion to Mzore’s homeland, he gets to know about a team called ‘Fairy Tale’ who tries to destroy the human world. Meanwhile, Moka faces difficulty in switching her personality, she is unable to return to her seal that covers her inner personality. So they decide to visit China to fic her Rosario. In Hong Kong, they realize the true identity of Muka, she was infused with First Ancestor blood by her mother. Moka’s eldest half-sister Aqua kidnaps Moka to bring to fairy Tale land, thinking that Moka could help to revive the First Ancestor.
In the meantime, Tsukune gets his body transferred, to face upcoming challenges. In the fight between the Fairy Tale team and Tsukune’s team, Moka gets mortally wounded, Tsukune removes all the holy locks on her by transforming himself into a First Ancestor vampire. Tsukune and his friends fight the Alucard(First Ancestor Vampire) and his clones. Tsukune puts Moka’s Rosario on Alucard which awakens Akansha, she tells Alucard to give up on the fight. Thus the fight ends there. After this battle, the humans get aware of the existence of vampires, which makes it more difficult for coexistence. But Tsukune and his friends are confident that they will achieve it.
